This was once a player piano, believe it or not … what gave it away? Maybe the two sliding front panel doors. Perhaps!
Unfortunately it’s a player piano NO MORE! The guts have been totally removed and stripped out of it … and … behind the curtains it’s just an empty shell. That’s okay though …
It still has all its key (although some chipped, cracked and uncapped)
It still has all its cords (although over tighted and mildly out of tune)
It still has all its hammers (although well used and deeply grooved)
It still has all its basic brown boxiness charm. Charm maybe not but for a simpleton, living a simple life, in a simpler time, it’s absolutely perfect!
Maybe, this piano will be your next perfect restoration project? Or, maybe, you could careless about all the sweet nothings of yesteryear I just said and all you want to piece it apart, scrap the metal and make some cold hard CASH.
