1978 San Juan 28 (LOA 28’8”)
Description
All the upgrades and repairs were done professionally by St. Clair Marine (total cost about $40,000).
The boat is very clean and well cared for, it is winter stored at St. Clair Marine in Lasalle, and spends the summers at Bell River Marina.
The 1978 St. Juan 28 (LOA 28’8”) has a 1978 Atomic 4 engine with 30 hp, which is in excellent condition. It has UK sails – main sail and roller- furling head sail.
I did not race it – it has not been overused or over-cruised in any way, only an occasional day sail.
The cabin has 6’4” headroom.
It has a spinnaker pole – but no sail.
The sailboat along with its cradle is worth $16,000 in its current condition.
It had a thorough marine survey in September 2014. All recommendations were completed professionally. The following can be made available on request:
• Copies of all St. Clair Marine invoices, regarding repairs and upgrades
• The 2014 marine survey
