My name is Kelsey, and I am currently in the process of completing my Bachelor of Education, with the aim of becoming a certified teacher. As a bilingual private tutor, I am looking to take on clients during the 2023/2024 school year. I have an honours bachelor's degree in Kinesiology, specializing in Movement Science, and a minor in Psychology. With a background in both the sciences and psychology, I bring a unique perspective to my tutoring approach.

In addition to my academic pursuits, I have gained valuable experience in the field of education through previous tutoring roles. I have worked both privately and for Tutorbright, a reputable tutoring service, for two years. This experience has equipped me with a deep understanding of the Ontario curriculum and its specific expectations, enabling me to tailor my teaching methods to best suit each student's needs.

My expertise extends across a wide range of subjects including:
• Any from kindergarten to grade 8
• Grade 9-12 English and/or French
• Grade 9-10 sciences
• Grade 11-12 Biology
• Social sciences (Psychology, Gender Studies, Sociology, Anthropology, History, and Geography)

In addition to my tutoring experience, I am actively involved in a charity through the University of Windsor. This charity focuses on raising funds to provide sustainable education for students in Latin America. This work has not only deepened my commitment to education but has also given me a broader perspective on the transformative power of learning.

I am passionate about education and believe in fostering an environment that encourages curiosity, critical thinking, and a love for learning. My goal is not only to provide knowledge but also to instill confidence in my students, empowering them to take charge of their own learning journey.
