Garden snails for re homing
Description
Hello, I have some beautiful Garden Snails (Cornu Aspersum) for re homing. Super easy to care for and are just the cutest!
These guys are NOT aquatic snails.
Some information: I use Eco Earth loose coconut fibre substrate. They need a source of protein atleast once a week, same time as when you pick out there poop and aerate the soil. (NEVER dump out there substrate as they use a lot of their energy and time to put in the good bacteria into it that they need to survive and thrive.) They feed on most veggies and can have fruit as a treat. Try to feed cucumber and iceberg lettuce as a treat as it holds no nutritional value for them. They need a light misting twice daily to keep up the humidity. They have to have a source of calcium at all times. (I always have a piece of cuttle bone for them and a small Tupperware lid full of crushed oyster shells.) I keep there enclosure at/about 22-25°.
They’re about a few months old now and have gone thru the proper process for rehoming, eating and growing well.
Babies are $5 each
I also have a few sub-adults I’m willing to rehome for $10 each
PLEASE DO NOT SET THESE GUYS FREE INTO THE WILD!!
Pick up is in Windsor Park or delivery for a small fee depending on location.
