2008 Lincoln MKX AWD - Mechanic's Special - $2,800 OBO

Selling my 2008 Lincoln MKX AWD --- AS-IS
If you're a mechanic, rebuilder, or parts hunter, this is the one you grab before someone else does.
Clean body, solid drivetrain, tons of usable parts - engine is the only major issue.
Engine failed due to coolant mixed with oil, so it will need a full replacement.
The good:
• AWD system works perfectly
• Transmission shifts clean
• PTU is solid - no whining, no grinding
• Body + interior are clean
• Brakes were replaced shortly before it was parked
What it needs:
• Engine replacement (coolant in oil)
• Battery is dead from sitting
• A/C recharge
• Rotors have surface rust - likely just need a light machining
• Must be towed
Important note
• The MKX stalled out cleanly when the engine failed
• No bandaid fixes were attempted
• You are getting a clean untouched failure, not something someone tried to patch and revive.
