This is (was) the latest and greatest in the D7xxx series of Nikon's enthusiast level cameras. and it is one of my favourite Nikon cameras. It's autofocus system is fast, it will give you 8 pictures per second, and it is relatively small and light when compared to other cameras that can do the same. It also has WiFi, NFC and Bluetooth. You can control the camera with your smartphone if you really want to.

It has taken 20,972 photos of a 150k life expectancy, and it looks great. This should last you a long time.
