Ensure that the needed internal and external resources are available to meet project schedules.
Provide input into project sales and working estimates.
Develop, document, and maintain site safety and quality policies and procedures.

This position is based out of our Abbotsford BC (and some limited spots in Calgary) Terminal. Border crossing is required.
This division services Western Canada and the Western United States. Primary lanes of travel BC, AB, WA, OR and CA. All dispatches are done in a priority sequence based on driver, customer, and load requirements.
Our expectation is to have a minimum of 6-10 full days of 24-hour availability or more. We like to run you according to your available hours and within legal requirements, which could mean running over the weekend.

The 3D Design Manager will lead a team of more than 20 designers, fabrication modellers, and detailers working on projects across North America and Asia. The primary duties of this role include the planning, monitoring, and reporting of 20+ active projects in stages from bid through to construction whilst developing new standards, methods, and practices to ensure the team stays at the leading edge of timber design. Under the 3D Design Manager’s vision and leadership, the team of project leads, VDC coordinators and 3D Designers will collaborate with external project teams, in-house engineering, project management, fabrication, and installation teams to ensure efficient, accurate, timely, and on-budget timber structures.

-Five or more years of direct experience managing teams, including HR, hiring, performance reviews, mentorship, and leading detailing teams with multiple project teams reporting into them.
-Demonstrated experience in leading and developing teams with proven methods to increase productivity, team communication and team development
-Proficiency in a 3D Modelling/detailing platform and/or BIM platform – preferably Revit, Rhino, Grasshopper, HSB Cad, Cadwork, or Tekla.
-High proficiency in resource management or ERP software – and fluency in Smartsheet or MS Excel
-Knowledge and experience developing dashboards and analytics a bonus.

Reporting to the Service Manager, a successful candidate is customer-focused and a team player who can work independently. Key Responsibilities:
Diagnosis /Faultfinding of earth moving and material handling equipment
Repair and maintenance of earth moving and material handling equipment according to EOM specifications
Check for the proper operation of earth moving and material handling equipment
Repair or replace defective parts
Clean lubricate and routine maintenance on earth moving and material handling equipment
Perform routine scheduled Planned Maintenance (PM) services, appraisals, and Safety Inspections
Complete all necessary timecards and report documentation as required
Complete shop work as required by Supervisor's direction when required
Communicate repair status and requirements with customers and Supervisors alike
Excel the 'customer experience' by being always professional
Order and track all parts request to meet the customer expectation
Complete jobs as assigned. Some out of town at customer site visits might be required
Proactively seek opportunities to grow customer accounts while carrying out your duties
Other related duties as assigned.Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Several years experience as a heavy-duty mechanic
General ability to carry out diagnostics and repairs on diesel engines, hydraulic and electrical systems, as well as reading schematics from each
Strong troubleshooting skills
Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills

Willingness and desire to learn
A minimum of intermediate English language skills (spoken and written)
A valid driver's license and current Driver’s abstract may be required.Required Qualifications:
Qualified Journeyman from any jurisdiction OR eligibility to challenge the journeyman/red seal examination in BC 3rd or 4th apprentice.

The 3D Design Manager will lead a team of more than 20 designers, fabrication modellers, and detailers working on projects across North America and Asia. The primary duties of this role include the planning, monitoring, and reporting of 20+ active projects in stages from bid through to construction whilst developing new standards, methods, and practices to ensure the team stays at the leading edge of timber design. Under the 3D Design Manager’s vision and leadership, the team of project leads, VDC coordinators and 3D Designers will collaborate with external project teams, in-house engineering, project management, fabrication, and installation teams to ensure efficient, accurate, timely, and on-budget timber structures.

-Leading project 3D Design Teams and reporting on milestones, schedule and budget health and risks/issues each week to the wider project delivery team leadership.

-At least 10 years experience in a responsible detailing role and progressive responsibility in leading detailing teams for major timber, steel, or precast detailing projects.
-Five or more years of direct experience managing teams, including HR, hiring, performance reviews, mentorship, and leading detailing teams with multiple project teams reporting into them.
-Demonstrated experience in leading and developing teams with proven methods to increase productivity, team communication and team development
-Proficiency in a 3D Modelling/detailing platform and/or BIM platform – preferably Revit, Rhino, Grasshopper, HSB Cad, Cadwork, or Tekla.
-High proficiency in resource management or ERP software – and fluency in Smartsheet or MS Excel
-Knowledge and experience developing dashboards and analytics a bonus.
