Start the new year learning to sew!
Description
In a COVID safe and secure place, your child can learn to sew with a retired Home Ec teacher, in her Bowness home.
School aged children learn to make simple and easy projects suited to their interest and skill with one on one instruction.
For those who are keen to become independent sewers, they are challenged to take what they've learned in class and make it at home on their own.
Handicapped and students with learning disabilities are taught with patience and care adapting to their skill level and interest.
Lessons are flexibly in length ( 1 to 2 hours), day ( Mon - Sat ) & time ( 9:30 am - 5 pm). Great for homeschoolers or after school.
Students bring a sewing machine in good working order and supplies to make each project.
Patterns are provided for most projects.
Quilting lessons are also available for teens or adults with previous sewing experience.
Cost is $20/hour
