Full-Time Live-In Nanny / Family Caregiver
Description
We are a caring, respectful family seeking a dependable, compassionate live-in nanny to care for our two children, ages 9 and 7. Our youngest child has autism and requires additional patience, supervision, and support with daily routines. Experience working with children with autism or other special needs is considered a strong asset.
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide safe, attentive care for two children.
Plan engaging activities and help maintain daily routines.
Prepare nutritious meals and snacks for the children.
Assist with homework and age-appropriate learning.
Support the emotional, social, and developmental needs of both children.
Transport children to activities if required.
Household Duties (Child-Related):
Children's laundry.
Meal preparation and kitchen clean-up.
Keep children's bedrooms and play areas tidy.
General housekeeping related to the children's care.
What We're Looking For:
Kind, patient, reliable, and trustworthy.
Comfortable caring for a child with autism.
Previous childcare experience preferred.
First Aid/CPR certification and a Criminal Record Check are assets.
Compensation & Schedule
Live-in, full-time salaried position
Salary: $2,848 per month gross
Typical schedule: 44 hours per week, with hours spread throughout the calendar week to meet the family's childcare needs.
