Sleep Technician for CPAP Clinic
We are a busy CPAP clinic looking for a highly motivated individual to join our team as a Sleep Technician.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct patient evaluations and prepare them for CPAP therapy.
• Administer sleep studies (PSG) and CPAP/BiPAP titration studies.
• Maintain detailed and accurate patient records.
• Educate patients on CPAP therapy, equipment usage, and maintenance.
• Handle patient inquiries, concerns, and complaints.
• Conduct sleep therapy adherence calls to assess patient compliance and to troubleshoot issues.
• Schedule sessions with our clients for proper follow-up.
Requirements:
• Medical background, ideally a licensed nurse or respiratory therapist, with experience in a sleep lab or CPAP clinic. However, candidates with other qualifications and combination of skills, abilities and experience will also be considered. Training is available for the right candidate.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with ability to speak effectively to patients on the phone and in person.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities with a high degree of organization and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Positive attitude and ability to work well in a team environment.
• High level of professionalism and empathy; friendly demeanor.
