Trailer Washing Technician

Location – Notre Dame de Lourdes, MB
Part time – Afternoon and/or evenings, 4-5 hours per day, 2-3 days per week
Hourly wage – $20 per hour

About us:
Porcherie Lac du Onze Ltee (PLDO) is a hog operation consisting of 5,000 sows, an in-house multiplication unit, 17,000 nursery spaces, a feed mill and feed transportation. PLDO also oversees the production of 40,000 finisher spaces and hog transportation.

What you’ll bring:
The successful candidate will have a positive attitude, be reliable, have strong attention to detail, and able to work alone. The ability to communicate in English is required. No previous experience is necessary. Must be at least 16 years of age.

What you’ll do:
As a Trailer Washing Technician, you will be responsible for cleaning and disinfecting market hog trailers. Trailers arrive at the wash bay in the afternoon and must be cleaned, disinfected and dried prior to being used again the following day.

This is an ideal position for a high school student, or anyone looking for additional work in in the evenings. Additional hours may be available for the right candidate.
