Warehouse Transportation Handler Career Opportunity
Dufresne Furniture and Appliances is currently seeking a Warehouse Transportation Handler for our Brandon store located at 1885-18th St N.
As a Warehouse Transportation Handler, you will be responsible for the efficient and accurate compliance with teams and provide support related to visual presentation, warehousing, customer service, pick-ups, movement of goods & merchandising. You will be responsible for store maintenance and all product movement. You will work as part of a team to provide exceptional delivery service to our customers.

As the Warehouse Transportation Handler, you will:
Receive product, product returns, accessories and supplies, prepares outbound shipments
Prepare product for delivery or floor placement
Maintain and provide accurate inventory documentation for warehouse and sales floor
General store internal maintenance (i.e. light bulbs, putty of walls, general handy-person duties, garbage).
Safely and efficiently perform loading and unloading activities related to the Companys delivery service
Maintain routines needed to ensure the efficient operation of the vehicle
Safely and efficiently drive the scheduled route, keeping to schedule and while providing exceptional customer service
Deliver product to customers home following Companys policies and procedures
Assemble product in customers home when required
Conduct all activities in a safe, courteous manner with every effort put forward to minimize damage to product and to the customers home
Understand and follow all safe work practices and rules
Ability to communicate with DCD (Delivery Completion Data) personnel upon completion of each delivery that communication is required
Abide by all Federal, Provincial and Municipal regulations as it pertains to commercial truck Drivers
Ability to communicate any issues (mechanical or otherwise) regarding the delivery truck
Perform daily pre and post-trip inspections
Keep warehouse area and sales floor organized and clean
Maintenance and housekeeping of exterior (i.e. grass cutting, shoveling, cleanliness)
As a successful candidate you will have the following:
High school diploma, GED or equivalent skills and experience
Experience with hand tools an asset
Ability to speak with customers and co-workers at a conversational level
Must be able to read item numbers and product descriptions on delivery paperwork
Perform simple written paperwork recording
6 months to 1 year of Delivery Driver experience
Able to work during retail hours (days, evenings, weekends and holidays)
Physically fit, able to lift and move objects greater than 100 lbs
Able to work in extreme temperatures
Safety footwear required
Valid Class 5 Drivers license with clean Drivers abstract
Criminal Record Check required

We are currently seeking an energetic, highly motivated individual to fill the position of Maintenance Technician at our FeedMax facility in Killarney, MB. Reporting to the General Manager, this individual will play a critical role within the facility coordinating, tracking, and performing maintenance and upkeep of all processing, storage and shipping systems on a day-to-day basis.
Responsibilities:- Perform basic to intermediate mechanical, and structural repairs to maintain operations of existing plant systems and supporting infrastructure;
- Ensure all periodic inspection reports and work tickets are maintained in accordance with ISO 22000 requirements for the terminal;
- Track life cycle of major components and forecast wear-out times;
- Conduct routine maintenance and perform safety audit;
- 3 years experience in an industrial environment;
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to multi-task;
- Agricultural equipment maintenance experience would be considered an asset;
- Must have and maintain a valid drivers license and satisfactory driving record.
