About the Opportunity
Sperling Industries Ltd. currently has an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to join our team in Sperling, Manitoba on a full-time basis, Monday-Friday with a start time of 7AM.
The successful candidate will collaborate directly with customers to understand their needs and operational challenges while being supported by our drafting and design technicians. This position aims to contribute to our successes and explore new ways to serve our customers innovatively.

About the Opportunity

Additionally, your day-to-day responsibilities could include:
- Work with the design/detailers, project management team, and customers directly to fully understand project requirements and customer needs
- Coordinate the document control for projects, along with the execution, scheduling, and invoice review
- Create, draft, and submit estimates to customers
- Monitor project status as it flows through fabrication and assist as questions arise
- Coordinate field installation and repair work through field scheduling
- Monitor and communicate regularly with existing and new customers
- Streamline and consolidate internal processes and procedures
To qualify for this role, you will need exceptional organizational skills, and a willingness to learn. Experienced workers or new graduates are welcome to apply!
You will also join us with the following skills or experience:
- Ability to travel throughout Canada if needed
- Experience with mechanical design, structural engineering, estimating, and drafting is preferred
- Experience within the food processing industry is an asset
- Education/certification as an engineering technologist is an asset
- Ability to read drawings and communicate graphically
- Some experience with Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD, and/or Tekla Structures would be beneficial
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
