Arcady is beginning to prepare for their ‘Bridging the Eras‘ performance on June 1, 2024. As an ensemble dedicated to mentoring young performers, Arcady would like to extend an invitation to any youth interested in joining us for this performance. Auditions are not required for anyone under the age of 18. There is no official registration fee; however, the youth choir is no longer sponsored and donations are encouraged. Tax receipts and program recognition are issued for donations of $20 or more. Rehearsals will start at the end of April and will take place on Saturday afternoons. Our guest speaker is Paul LaPorte , and his topic is “Building Biodiversity with Native Plants”. A very informative evening. Come on out for a very informative evening. We welcome visitors. Time to join your local Garden Club!
Paul LaPorte is the owner of Ephemeral Ark Nursery (specializing in native woodland species) and consultant on ecological gardening and design. Living in the Greenbelt of the GTA, he has taken the opportunity to steward and study numerous native plant communities within multiple ecotypes and varied microclimates. Paul maintains a strong knowledge of Ontario native plant species and their communities and fosters them in his own gardens.

(wow) These camps are made for kids who absolutely love horses. Experience is not necessary, but the attitude to learn all things horsey and have fun while doing it is definitely a requirement! Fire Fly's location is between Cambridge and Hamilton, minutes from Flamborough. Drop off times are 8am-4pm.
