Local Christian band looking to add a lead guitarist ;
Gospel > blues, bluegrass and contemporary set lists
Working on setting up 1/2 dozen local charity fund-raiser gigs ( e.g. Food bank, outreach) within an hour of Kitchener-Waterloo
Typically Saturday night gigs, so as not to interfere with any potential Sunday Church commitments
Your ability to travel (your own ride) & your own personal gear is important , vocals, and access to practice space for the band would be beneficial .Monthly rehearsal time a must. Current members have experience, and know what it takes to make this succeed. Drop me a line, this could be some great fun for some worthy causes !

Hi! I’m looking for a band/bandmates. I generally like to handle vocals and rhythm guitar.
I could go various directions.
From fun and light-hearted to heavier, darker, angular(???).
Punk, post-punk, emo, indie, garage, noisy weird sh*t, etc.
Or even softer, warm singer-songwriter vibes. I can do it all! Or I will certainly try. Help me be in 3 bands by the end of summer!
I was the main singer and writer for Ruff Talons back in the day. Poppy punky garage might be a good description. https://rufftalons.bandcamp.com/album/tuff-stuff. I think my vocals are better now. I've been told not to push so hard.
I was also in Emotional Hardcore, a more short-lived band with no official recordings but included ex-members of Force Quit, Silent Film Soundtrack, and Loosestrife. Just trying to build up my cred here, please don’t make fun of me. We described ourselves as early-2000s-southern-Ontario-indie-post-hardcore. Yes.
I have phones full of bits of songs waiting to be fleshed out. I’m happy to collaborate and work on things together.
Reach out if this piques your interest :)

Hi, my name is Marlon. I’m a versatile and committed drummer with 9 years gigging experience, I’m really looking to fill my calendar this year! I’ve played many different kinds of shows including weddings, bars, festivals and private events. I have an ever expanding repertoire of 300+ songs including Rock, Pop, R&B, Blues, Country, Disco, Grunge, Hardcore, Punk, Pop Punk, Hiphop and Jazz. I’m sure there’s more that I’m forgetting haha.
I strive to be an open minded, flexible and easy to work with player who loves playing shows and wants to have fun and get paid doing it.
If this sounds like an ideal situation for your band or need a fill-in for a show don’t hesitate to reach out!

King Eater is a working metal band with a debut release out now.
It is a 6 song EP, being released as 2-3 singles than an official ep during August at a festival we are booked for.
Melodic, fast and slow, heavy, groovy...
We call it metal.
We are in need of a bass player who is committed and of at least intermediate skill level.
The bass on our EP was tracked by a stand in player.
It can be learned and replicated or it can be created to your liking as the new member.
However, the debut release is set and the tracking phase is complete, so the material will not change on the recordings.
Should you reply...
Be serious - we have had time wasters with no relevance show and have had no shows.
Again, be serious and understand that there are expectations.
We are all ages 35+.
Given that, 25+ is our prerequisite.
This is a serious band that has recorded, will continue to record and are playing shows/festivals in the summer.
Its a hobby NOT a job, but it isn't a laid back jam band.
No egos, best foot forward to grow musically and kick ass mentality.
We have band members ranging from London to KWC tri-cities and Norfolk/Brant County.
Location is flexible as we all travel for this band.
Our rehearsal space in near 403 on Hwy 24.
Minimal biweekly rehearsal is mandatory.
Please reach out if you are interested.
Thanks for looking.

Hello! My name is Keenan Reimer-Watts. I am opening a private studio out of Troy, Ontario. I teach all ages and have taught for 10 years privately, and played music in a variety of contexts for a lot longer than that!
I can teach advanced piano, intermediate guitar and violin, and many other instruments more casually... but still very fun. I have composed probably 1000 pages of sheet music, written for many different instruments and ensembles, from solo tuba to orchestra. I have even composed and premiered my own concerto with an orchestra! I have also self-released 38 albums, EP's and singles, exploring a variety of genres and playing a multitude of different instruments.
So, I am happy to help you learn music and express yourself, also! Please contact me if you want to organize a time to meet, at keenanreimerwatts@gmail.com. I am teaching on Wednesdays first, and potentially other days when that day fills up nicely :)
My website is www.keenanreimerwatts.com. All my creative output is free up there and for your exploration! It is essentially an online journal where my heart is open for others to read.
I am charging $40 for a 1 hour lesson, $25 for a half hour. Lessons can be e-transfer, cash, paid each week, or per month.
Hope to hear from you!
Keenan

We are a band currently of 3 members (30, 30, and 31 y.o.). We are looking for a singer around our age give or take some years (preferably female due to our previous singer, but male would work too). Bands we currently cover are Three Days Grace, Papa Roach, Fallout Boy, Linkin Park, Nirvana, Mayday Parade and more. Some finished or in the works originals as well.
This is a hobby for us at this point, but we would love to get back to the point of playing shows now and then. Currently practicing on a weekly or bi-weekly schedule.
Reach out if interested!
