Routines are Old School Country Line Dancing mixed in with original dances and current trending industry favourites. Requests are always honoured.

All classes are Drop-In. No registration is required.

Joan Minnery is a Certified and Licensed Dance Fitness and Line Dance Instructor with a Master of Arts in Community Music and 30 years of experience in teaching Line Dancing & 40 years in teaching Dance Fitness. She is also an award-winning choreographer and performer.

Therapeutic Grooming is a mutually beneficial activity for both horse and human.
Grooming promotes joy, relaxation, social interaction, coordination, upper body strength, and more.
Who can benefit? Everyone! But especially those who choose not to ride or are unable to ride, but still wish to benefit from horse interaction.

Learn to Sail with us - Port Dover Sailing School

Why not give yourself something you’ve always wanted — sailing lessons for next summer? Young or old the Port Dover Yacht Club’s Sailing School offers classes for all ages by well qualified instructors certified by Sail Canada.

Interested in purchasing a sail boat or just getting out on the water? Sailing lessons for next summer is a great and unique gift idea.

Adults:
Courses are conducted over two consecutive weekends and are offered all season long. Approximately 30 hours of instruction occurs on our 27-ft keelboat at a cost of $750 + HST.

Youth Program:
Courses for youth aged 8 – 16 are offered weekly, Monday to Friday from 9 am–4 pm, on smaller boats called dinghies. These courses are for all levels of ability from total beginners to more experienced sailors. All instructors and courses are certified by Sail Canada. Cost is $295 + HST for 1 week and $540 + HST for 2 weeks.

There are opportunities to compete during dinghy racing nights on Tuesdays for students age 13 – 18. Cost is $125 and includes a fabulous T-shirt. Our teams also compete in sailing regattas around Ontario.

Trial Program:
If you’re not sure if sailing is for you and don’t want to commit to a full course, you can just give it a try during our Discover Sail program for $109.99. This is available for both adults (2 Thursday evenings) and students (2 days). There is no certification with this trial program.
