Interested in starting a band with some like minded individuals. Would like to play some newer rock type music, mostly covers but maybe write eventually. I play bass and rhythm guitar, 40 years old living in Trail. Hoping to practice 1-2 times/week and maybe hit some open mic’s eventually.

Free Laptop or PC Wanted - Your Generosity Would Mean the World!
Hello Vancouver!
I'm reaching out to this amazing community with a humble request. I'm in need of a free laptop or PC, or even a newer Android device (6+ or Oreo or higher). Unfortunately, my budget is currently at zero, but I'm hopeful that someone out there might have an old or unused device they're willing to part with.
Whether it's a laptop that's no longer in use, a PC that's gathering dust, or an Android phone that's been upgraded—your generosity would be incredibly appreciated. I promise to make good use of it and be deeply grateful for any help you can offer.
Thank you so much for considering my request. If you have anything that might fit the bill, please reach out to me. Your kindness could truly make a difference!
Best wishes,
James

We’re on the lookout for a female lead vocalist & cellist!
We tend to blur the lines of rock with a theatrical element to our sound - strings, orchestral, and electronic vibes. We'd like to create more than just something sonic when it comes to our music & performance - an experience that is audial, visual, and possibly more - something that conveys emotion on more than one plane.

Greetings people,
I am looking for some really passionate and talented musicians to create a high quality cover band with.
About Me :
I'm a very professional female vocalist who is highly dedicated, hardworking, and disciplined.
I've done extensive touring, playing with cover bands in 5 star hotels all over the world.
I am extremely business minded and I have built, promoted and booked many projects with great success.
What I'm looking for:
I'd like to build a 7 piece cover band consisting of a drums, bass, keys, guitar, male vocalist and an additional female vocalist. I'd like a couple of players to be able to sing back up vox/harmonies as well.
Genres of music include Pop, R&B, Soul, Disco, Classic Rock, etc, and musicians should be versatile and comfortable with these genres.
I am looking for dedicated, hardworking, disciplined and goodhearted people to come on this journey with me. A professional attitude is a must.
Previous live stage experience is very important, however willing to overlook this if the talent is there!
I am only looking for people who want to be fully committed and can dedicate one eve/2 hours per week to rehearsal.
I am extremely willing and ready to get this moving, rehearsal space will be at the beautiful Sound house studios. This and all other start up expenses (videos/photos/recording etc.) will be taken care of by me.
With the right people, we will be a force and I will book us shows! (Corporate/Wedding/Casino etc.)
*Initial compensation for song learning could be discussed for the pro pros!
If this sounds like something you’d like to be a part of, please send me an email with the following:
A brief bio of yourself, and your musical experiences.
Sound clips/videos of previous performances.
A brief description of why you’d want to be a part of this.
Any and all other info you think would be relevant/helpfulAuditions/meetings to be held in the next couple of weeks at Sound house studios.
Cheers!

Need a drummer that puts your music first?
Hi, I’m Michael! I’ve been performing and recording with artists locally and internationally for nearly 15 years.
I run a personal studio specializing in drum production and recording called Noisemaker Sound Co.My goal is to find the perfect part, sounds and vibe to help bring your music and your vision to life. Whether you need just an acoustic drum track, programmed drums, or percussion overdubs, a mix of the three?
Save money on studio time and hiring a drummer. I’ll send you up to 14 multitracked drum stems as well as drum mixes, all in .wav format.
Don’t hesitate to reach out and ask me more about my process, my gear, or more about me.
Let’s make great music together!
Check out samples of my playing and recordings here:

Most of the parts are already worked out, so it's just a matter of learning what's there, but we are open to creative contributions as well. Main influences - Pixies, Nirvana, Radiohead, Slowdive, MBV, Dinosaur Jr., stuff like that. Although we don't sound that much like those bands. Lol, we tried.
