Looking to start a Rock Band

Interested in starting a band with some like minded individuals. Would like to play some newer rock type music, mostly covers but maybe write eventually. I play bass and rhythm guitar, 40 years old living in Trail. Hoping to practice 1-2 times/week and maybe hit some open mic’s eventually.
