Meowdy, my name is Remmy. I play bass and I can scream my heart out (one at a time though), and been stacking up lyrical scrawls for a while. I want to start a band, and just kinda tossing things out at any avenue I can find cuz I don't know a ton of people in the area lol. Looking for drums, guitar, synth, extremely pissed-off mandolin players, shoegaze accordion enthusiasts, whatever really I guess!
Not really interested in playing covers and stuff for performing, I want to write songs with people and make passionate, furious sound as we live in a time full of those without ways to express passion, fury, and exhaustion for the world of "it is what it is". I don't do "apolitical". Stylistically I'm throwing lawn darts at a hole filled with doom metal, thrash, folk punk, hardcore, nu metal, stoner rock, pop punk, and disco. When I'm bored I noodle around with All Them Witches, Rage Against The Machine, Chat Pile, and Carcass.
30, She/They

MURRAY McLAUCHLAN - The Hourglass TourMurray McLauchlan is one of Canada’s most highly regarded singer/songwriters, and with good cause. Over a 50-year career, he has released 20 albums and been awarded 11 Junos. His songs Farmer’s Song, Down by the Henry Moore, Whispering Rain and Sweeping the Spotlight Away are now considered Canadian standards. Murray is also a painter, an author, an actor, a radio host; he's been bestowed an Honourary Doctor of Laws and appointed to The Order of Canada. That’s quite a ride. For many years Murray’s touring had been restricted to Lunch At Allen's, whose members also include Ian Thomas, Marc Jordan and Cindy Church. But with the release of his critically acclaimed Hourglass, he’s back on the road treating concert goers to a seamless blend of old and new.
Here’s what he has to say: "As a songwriter I know that it's not enough to sit in your kitchen and write. Your songs need to be heard. Music is a communicative art and if it isn't brought in front of people there is no way to tell if that end has been met. I like to think of a concert tour as a kind of roving gallery to test your art and your ideas. I try to do my very best to make it worthwhile for folks to be there and to perhaps look at things in a new way when they leave."
And this, in a nutshell, is the Murray McLauchlan concert experience.Reserved seating tickets for Murray McLauchlan ...Hourglass are $67.50 (tax & facility fees included, additional surcharges may apply), and are available from the box offices listed below. Showtime is 7:30pm. For more info, pics & music clips, visit www.shantero.com or www.murraymclauchlan.com

Hello, getting cabin fever something FIERCE! Wondering if there’s any odd jobs around? Trying to save up for a vehicle and my own place. Have to hold off on getting a legitimate job as apparently I’ll be leaving for 2 months “soon” but no definite date set as of yet and don’t want to pick up a job, have people take the time to train me and then have me peace out for 2 months. So will be looking for a more consistent full time job when I am back and can commit. But in the MEAN time, looking for something temporary. I have my drivers license, good with typing and computer work, decent with people, somewhat strong. Pretty adaptable, so if there’s something please call or text me at 2506891169, I’m in Oliver. Thanks!
