I'm looking to offer my shoveling services to seniors in Saint John this winter. I shovel asphalt for a living so just looking to keep busy and also offer affordable snow shoveling. Just looking to use a shovel, so not interested in doing any larger driveways, let the plow guys handle the big stuff. We are looking for volunteers to take part in a study exploring, via parent-report, the relationship between protective factors and children’s resilience among children (aged 5-12 years) previously exposed to parental gender-based violence.
If you are a primary caregiver to a child aged 5-12 years who lived with you while previously experiencing gender-based violence, reside in Canada, and have internet access, you may be eligible to participate!
Participation in this study is voluntary and anonymous. If you are interested and agree to participate, you would be asked to complete an ~60-minute online survey.

Hello. This idea was suggested to me by someone, I have never been in a situation like this before, I have no idea what to do. so here goes nothing.
My name is Nicole, I am from Alberta. I am now stranded here in Kelowna, due to a moment of complacency in which I put my bag down, turned away from it for a very brief second and gave someone the opportunity to take it. Which they most certainly did. Said bag contained my wallet, all of my identification, my money, my cell phone, bank cards, everything pertinent to me getting home.
Since that bag being taken, I have lost the remaining few bags that I had with me as well, which contained my toiletries, clothes, a bit of food. So I am on the streets now with absolutely nowhere to go, no food, no change of clothes. I have never been out on the streets before. It is very difficult to obtain identification without any identification. So I am stuck at a send still. I'm very hungry, tired cold needing to change my clothes and losing faith very quickly.
A good samaritan helped me out with a bit if money a few days ago opened a bank account for me to receive money in and gave me the idea to post this ad saying that there are alot of good people kelowna. I was hesitant to do this but I'm running out of options. I have set up an email for e- transfers if there is anyone willing to help me out so I can get some food and basic necessities while I try to figure out a way home. I would appreciate it more than you will ever know.
