- What they know about hamster genetics in depth. They should be able to give you an idea of how these genetics work and the genetics behind color combinations

I have one young boy that is ready for a home, there is a 50% chance he carries the Leucistic gene, he has been well handled but less so recently so he will need a bit more time to warm up and his price reflects that. comes with a familiar cage pouch and weaned onto the BML diet with plenty of fruit/veg like papayas, mangoes, melons, lactose free yogurts etc.
I can meet between Abbotsford/Hope and possibly Vancouver.

Hello!
I have two adorable male guinea pigs looking for a new home. They are a bonded father-son pair. Malcolm, the dad, is the sweetest guinea pig I have ever owned. He loves to be petted in the cage. Nox is a few months old, and he is rapidly getting more used to humans. He likes to run around in the cage, popcorning and wheeking. The two are a bonded pair, so they must stay together. They love to play together and they both wheek loudly for veggies whenever I come in the room.
I’d love to sell the cage with them, as I think it is the perfect size for them. It is approximately 6’ x 2.5’, and would come with most of supplies I still own.

Hi!
These two male guinea pigs are a father-son pair.
The father, Malcolm, is a beautiful long-haired guinea pig around 4-5 years old. He is literally the sweetest guinea pig I have ever owned, and I am sorry to see him go. I believe he needs a home where someone can give him more of the attention he loves so much. I can pet him in his cage, and he’ll just close his eyes and soak it up.
Malcolm’s son is very sweet as well. His smooth, long hair shines in the sun, and he has a few tiny white markings on his face. He was born in December 2023, so he is still a baby in many ways. He tends to be dominant over Malcolm.
These two should stay together, because Malcolm is known to get depressed when there are no other guinea pigs around. Their cage has a removable seperator in case they fight, but so far they have been fine without it.
I’m selling the cage with them because I think it is a great size for two male guinea pigs. It is approximately 6’ x 2.5’, and comes with built-in hay racks. The base is wooden and the walls are tied together with zip ties. It is in good shape, and I usually layer it with towels and blankets for their bedding. Make sure your vehicle has enough room to carry this cage if you want to buy it. The cage would come with:
- 6 old towels (for absorbant layer)
- Several fleece blankets
- 1 plastic hut
- 1 wooden hidey
- 2 food bowls
- 2 water bottles
- 1 small broom (I sweep their poop out daily)
- Cleaning solution and rag
- 1 bag with my remaining supply of hay
- All of my remaining pellets (I use a mixture of brands)
- 1 fleece forest with clothes pins
- 1 pet bed
- Various toys and sticks
- Seperation bar
Please contact if interested

Dear Hamster Lovers across Canada,
Lavender Meadows Hamstery is an ethical hamstery in Vancouver, BC breeding Syrian hamsters to better their temperament, health, and physical type. We’re excited to announce that we offer live shipping across Canada. Of course, adopters will be vetted carefully and will be required to fill out an application. Please read this description to learn more about us! Shipping of the hamster will cost between 30-100 CAD depending on where you are in Canada. Most provinces cost $60.
We work specifically with rex hamsters and long haireds, in the colors of chocolate, rust, black, golden, yellow, and silver grey, and will be working with extreme dilute (import from US in May 2024) and polywhite rex (import from China in June 2024).
Our global waitlist is open to all hamster lovers in Canada. We do have strict expectations for hamster care though. Our hamsters are known for their chunky self (they hit 200g+ plus), and sassy, unique, and calm personalities.
We run off of a waitlist. Baby hamsters will be chosen at 4 weeks old and then at 6-8 weeks old will be able to go to their new homes. Our hamsters eat seed mix and lab blocks but also tons of human-grade foods including chicken, salmon, tuna, shrimp, kale, cucumber, carrots, and cabbage. Our hamsters have a drastic difference from those in pet stores because of their natural good temperament and their physical body type (bigger and broader face). We differ from pet stores because our hamsters are not from rodent mills and are not bred for profit. Our adopters have expressed great joy in the friendliness and longevity of our pups in contrast to pet store hamsters. We run off of a waitlist where the wait time is 2-5 months to ensure proper breeding practice. Read more in our website about how we care for our hamsters but this ad will explain how one would begin the adoption process.
The process:
1. Fill out the adoption application (link below). Message us on any of our platforms to speed up the reply process. There is a $15 non-refundable deposit that must be paid to hold your spot on the waitlist. This is deposit after we respond to your application (usually same day)2. During the waiting period, adopters are expected to research hamster care and gather the necessary supplies. We have an online shop for supplies!
3. When the pups are ready for adoption, you will be either matched with a pup or be able to choose. Pups are matched based on personalities and what you are looking for. All pups are usually well-socialized and great with handling. The total adoption fee is $80, with $15 deposit and the $65 remaining is to be paid at the time of adoption. An adoption contract is to be signed at the time of adoption. **adoption fee is negotiable in specific circumstances.

I am moving from Kelowna to Vancouver sometime in the summer to study. I likely cannot take my bunnies with me as most rental places won’t accept them. The bun with brown spots all over is Miggy, he’s 3.5 years old and neutered. The white bun with dark ears is Darla, she’s 2 years and 8 months old and spayed. Fun fact: Miggy is Darlas dad! I cherish my bunnies very much and am super sad to let them go but it is what it is. Ideally after I’m done school I would be able to take them back. Not too sure though. And I’d love to be able to visit them every now and then. Any inquiries or questions you can message me!

1 Year old cuddly Female needs a forever home. Very friendly when comfortable, this Piggie loves to snuggle and be cozy. She is not very active as she is clumsy when she walks and has a head shake due to her papa jumping into a cage he shouldn't have been in and making babies with a relative. Yikes. (lesson learned)
I love her dearly but I need to cut down on my herd a bit. I think someone with a big heart who love to cuddle their piggies will be perfect for her. She has a lot of love to give.

I have 2 amazing house rabbits. They love each other and must stay together. Lenny and Coco are their names. Lenny is neutered and Coco is a unsprayed female. i dont want to do this not one bit. But I have found my self really allergic to the hay. I could write a book on each one of their personalities, so if interested please message me. Here they are fully inside free roaming and once a day minimum i let them onto the deck so they can run around and be outside safely. No cages they are fully litter trained and deserve to be part of the family free roaming. They dont per say like to be picked up but they will tough it out. They are great around large dogs too. I think no children would be best because as i said they aren't huge on being picked up. I got lots more i could go off about so shoot me a message if interested.

We rescued this girl one year ago after she was dumped. But the truth is we do not have time for this bunny. We are a family of five that work full time, play hockey, girl and boy scouts and we are never home.
Shes young. Shes sweeet. She wants to be free roaming. Message me if you think you might be a good fit. Also she loves dogs.

2 male Guinea pigs, including their pen, and all belongings. White & light brown Guinea pig named s’more is very friendly, curious and loves attention. Black, brown and white Guinea pig named Herman is more sensitive, quick to startle but enjoys being pet and comes over for pets. Both have been handled regularly, and enjoy climbing onto laps for pets. Also included is wire folding pen with mat that can be used indoors and outdoors. We have owned them since November 2022. We use water absorbent sheets as bedding instead of wood chips, easier and faster to clean and are included.
Rehoming due to changes in living situation, very sweet loving Guinea pigs.

3 yr old Black and orange brindle "Bonky", and 1yr old best-little-buddy "Todd"; we have moved into our new rental without the landlords knowledge of these pets and cannot risk eviction over this. There is no rentals available.
I love them very much, take great care of them; but need a loving family to adopt them.
They need 2 salads with fruit gifts twice a day, unlimited hay and oxbow pellets. A large 4x4 x pen and enclosure can come with them (and some food and dishes).
I will explain how to easily and affordably clean their pen once a week too.
Snuggly and smart these are the best pets!!

We are proud to be the only ethical breeder of Syrian hamsters in the Lower Mainland. Our goal is to produce the best quality Syrian hamsters that have a friendly, gentle, and natural kind temperament along with an improving lifespan that is above average. Since these hamsters come from a socialized environment, they go home being used to their new environment and ready to be handled and bonded with. Our hamsters are also an ethical alternative to hamsters from rodent mills sold in pet shops (think puppy mills).
