I’mMeet Lilly, the most affectionate bunny on the planet. She is my favourite bunny I have ever owned and I love her so much. We are moving and can’t take her with me, I would prefer she goes to a home where she can live indoors. She is 3 this year. She has many years left to spend with a special Someone! She always gives me something to laugh about and is such a cuddly girl. She doesn’t mind being picked up at all, and loves head rubs. Contact me if your interested!

Bianca is a holland lop/flemish giant cross and she is turning 2 this year. She loves to play and LOVES treats. She doesn't love being picked up or pet but will tolerate it. She's good with any animal, but she does need to have a bunny friend or at least be able to see other bunnies as she is very social. She will always come to me for food and has a really sweet personality.

Five baby bunnies available! Born on Christmas:) they are ready to leave mid February! The black, brown and chinchilla coloured bunnies are all female, the chestnut (brown) is a boy. And the tiny cream one is just to small to tell! :) they will come with there nails trimmed and a small bag of transition feed. Dad is a pure bred holland. Who is roughly 2.5 pounds and mom is a rescue but we think she has dwarf because her babies don’t usually reach above 3 pounds. Mom and dad are both lap bunny/house bunny size and are just the sweetest. The babies have been handled since birth and love cuddles

I have a lovely female hamster to rehome! She is very nice, but too quick for my young kids (due to my kids being loud and scaring her). She would do better in a household with older children so she could sit and be held for more than a millisecond without getting scared.
We got her in July, and just isn't getting the attention she deserves. She comes with a plug in, light up rocketship cage, and an additional cage (doesn't turn anymore but allows more room to play), some paper bedding, a light up ball for running around the house, Timothy hay and hamster food.

Hey all! We're looking for adopters for our 2023 litters, so if interested, please keep reading to learn about the adoption process and how you can join our waitlist. We are the only ethical hamstery in the Lower Mainland that breeds pedigreed hamsters (lineage & genetics are fully known). Many breeders exist, but not all are truly ethical. You can read about our specific practices listed in our website below.
We are dedicated to breeding to improve the species of Syrian hamsters. The current wait time is around 2-4 months depending on the number of babies available. Our breeding hamsters are pedigreed with 5-7 generations of documentation showing the family tree and the genes that they carry. The wait time ensures that there are wonderful homes lined up for each litter, that the hamsters are being bred only once or twice with breaks, and that mother hamsters getting lots of rest and care.
Our hamsters are known for the gentle disposition, health, and temperament. We've had over 200+ adopters so far over the past years! Each hamster breeding is carefully planned and thought about - in what ways will the breeding parents pass down their positive traits to their offspring? Since we know the lineage and genetics of our hamsters, we can plan accordingly.
If you're interested in adopting one from our future litters (currently spots are open for Feb and March litters), we invite you to fill out our application form. To join the waiting list, there is a $15 deposit that is required to hold your spot. Filling out the application form alone doesn't get you on the waitlist. We will send confirmation once you're on the waitlist.

Summary of the adoption process
1. Fill out the application form
2. Hear back in us (1-4 days) and pay the deposit ($15) to join the waitlist
3. Read over our specific care guide and fill out the adoption/order form
4. When the litter is born, you will be sent photos/updates
5. You will choose your hamster in waitlist order, we will agree on time/place to meet
6. Adoption day ~ fill out adoption contract and adopt the hamster! We will also bring your ordered supplies to adoption.CONTACT INFO

Website: https://lavendermeadowshamstery2022.weebly.com/Adoption fee of $65, 15 deposit and 50 adoption fee. A vet checkup fee of $35 is factored into the adoption fee as all babies are taken to the vet before rehoming. One quality --> one price. Per litter: we spend $80 on the care of every hamster in a litter of 6.
Benefits of adopting from an ethical hamster breeder:
1. Stopping the rodent mill industry - all the hamsters in pet stores come from rodent mills that mass breed negligibly in order to meet the popular. In order to make a considerable profit, the lowest quality of care, housing, and diet is provided. One less purchase from the store, stops another hamster from being bred. There is a long way to go but we will eventually get there one day. Our hamsters are sourced from other ethical breeders who don't seek to make a profit but rather to breed to benefit the species. Ethical breeders provide proper care and husbandry and do not (and can not) make a profit with breeding.
2. Easy taming and socialization - from the very start, hamsters in the rodent industry are not handled. Breeders will breed the hamsters regardless of temperament history like if the hamster has a history of aggression. There are hundreds if not thousands of hamsters in mills, there is no time for the breeder to handle and play with every hamster every day. There is no time for handling once hamsters reach the stores - especially now due to COVID, one can't even touch/hold a hamster before buying it. Our hamsters are socialized daily from the very beginning and are bred for temperament. They are handled by kids and adults for 1-3 hours every day once they reach two weeks and up till 6 weeks. Therefore, when they go home they are very friendly and used to being held. When our adopters first meet their hamsters, most hamsters warm up very quickly and can be held, cuddled, and snuggled with the first moments when they meet. Back home, adopters have an easy time handling the hamster (sometimes males are trickier) and can bond right away which is always ideal.
3. Health of the hamsters - Health history is looked at for our hamsters because having the hamsters live a long and healthy life is very important to us. We only breed healthy hamsters with no health problems. We follow the most up to date care and provide the hamsters with enriching habitats where they can thrive. Rodent mills don't care if a hamster is blind, hairless or if they have a negative mutation. They will breed them anyways which is unfortunate because often health problems are genetic and get passed to their offspring. Due to the poor housing, bad breeding, diet, and care, they are even more prone to diseases and injuries. This is why premature deaths and hamsters dying out of nowhere is so common with pet store hamsters! With the goal of making profit, that means the care the hamsters receive is very very poor quality.

It saddens us that this is were we are. Due to unforeseen moving we have to re home three does. Two are bonded. One is not. The one not is the daughter of one of the bonded. The one bonded rabbit is mother to both. She is holland lop. The mother is a pedigree doe but her babies are holland lop X Rex.
The mother is such a cuddle bug. They are all held and handled by children. They are house bunnies and outdoor bunnies. We bring them in over winter. They use the litter box. The bonded have to go together.
You’re free to take the outdoor rabbit hutch. Will include an adorable barn house looking house for them if you take them all. It’s custom and locally made.
Not meant for snake food.
