Bert is a 2 year old registered, intact male German Shepherd. He is a proven breeder with a successful litter last year. He is a big boy, over 100 lbs with stunning dark features. He is a very low drive shepherd. He is happy to relax around the house or go out for a leisurely walk. He is very calm in the house, he’s crate trained, never has accidents indoors. He is absolutely fantastic in the vehicle, great on leash, has good recall off leash. He is the most gentle boy ever, he’s very loving and cuddly to his people and very gentle and kind to other dogs he knows. He shares toys and food with our chihuahua and is so careful and kind. He’s great with kids as well. As an intact male he can be vocal towards other dogs while on leash, however after proper introductions he’s very playful and kind. It’s just something to be aware of out walking as abrupt on leash interactions are not ideal. Otherwise he has no bad traits. This will likely improve after neutering however I’m potentially offering breeding rights on him otherwise he can be neutered before sale or sold on a neuter contract. This special boy is offered to an approved home only.

This pair of male Anatolian Shepherd pups are well started - weaned, wormed, vaccinated and well started on their careers as livestock guardian dogs. They are strong active dogs, cautious around strangers and quick to challenge unfamiliar animals but warm, gentle and loyal to their family and the livestock they know. They are great protectors and have already challenged coyotes, bears, cougars, foxes and eagles. They tend not to live with livestock but guard and patrol their home property. They are used to sheep, poultry, cattle, and horses.
They work well together and two are recommended if you are challenged by cougar or a lot of coyotes or wolves. They will continue to mature in size and temperament until at least 2 years old. They have been fed large breed puppy kibble.
Very similar in size and appearance but one has darker head and chest and white front paws. We have both their parents - both pure anatolians - now both fixed as this is the last litter we will have.

At Spa Alp Equines we strive to provide each horse an individualized program specific to each horse and owners requirements. We offer a variety of training services, from halter training, ground work, starting, problem solving, sales and our signature trail miles program.
All equines that come to our facility get a unique experience through the diverse environment they are exposed to. Our fully insured facility is located on a livestock farm on the Yankee Flats, above the Salmon Valley. The horses’ daily lives include exposure to all kinds of equipment, vehicles and animals including but not limited to sheep, goats, cattle, ducks, dogs, chickens, pigs and turkeys. All horses are ridden on their own, in pairs and in larger groups. Training environments include arena ( indoor to accommodate all weather conditions and round pen, field and farmyard, as well as roadways with varying traffic levels. Our location also gives us access to miles of trails with varying difficulty and terrain. Obstacles encountered include rivers and creeks, puddles, lakes, logs, hills, loose ground, wildlife, bridges, and gates. Our focus with all the horses is creating a safe, soft and willing partner both in the arena and out on the trail. Each horse that is being started under saddle has their first few rides accompanied by a ground person to provide a safe and seamless transition from ground work to under saddle work.
Each horse is assigned their own stall with attached paddock, with individual turn out. Other accommodations can be arranged by request. Quality hay is provided multiple times daily to ensure plenty of forage at all time as well as a custom whole feed program to ensure your horse thrives. All of our programs include use of back on track products, theraplate, and we work with a variety of professional therapists to ensure your horses success.
We encourage owners to be a part of their horses training experience. Visits for lessons or to observe a training session are encouraged. Owners are updated on their horses training progress through photo, video and phone updates
Our broker services will save you time and hassle; we do our very best in find an ideal home for each horse, whether it be a yearling, green horse or that family friendly horse. We provide potential buyers with photos, videos, accommodate viewings and vettings, and organize professional hauling if required. During their time with us every horse is put into a training program to ensure we can bring out the best in them. I have an adult Male Red Tailed Green Ratsnake (Gonyosoma oxycephalum) for sale. Imported November 2021, he is in excellent health and condition and eats thawed rats with no issues whatsoever. Although incredibly beautiful and well behaved, he is not used to being handled and can be somewhat defensive or flighty when challenged.
