We're looking for an experienced home for our rescued ball python.
We took him in about a year ago from severely neglectful conditions where he was underweight, dehydrated, and in generally bad shape. We're happy to see him now thriving, but unfortunately with our busy schedules, we don't feel that we can dedicate the time and attention he deserves.
His age is unknown, but he's around 130cm and weighs in at 2kg. He's calm and good with handling. He gets fed a 100g frozen/thawed rat every other weekend and has never refused a meal. He sheds roughly every 6 weeks, which goes well so long as his humidity is kept at the recommended 60-80%. He has recently developed cataracts, but they don't seem to impact his quality of life.
He comes with his 40gal tank but would benefit from a 120gal upgrade in the future. The substrate is a bioactive mix seeded with springtails, powder orange isopods, and a few nightcrawlers. There's also a pothos plant, which is a little ragged from his destructive tirades, but it's hanging in there. His setup includes two Arcadia 80w DHPs in dome lamps, two ZooMed digital display thermostats, a NICREW ClassicLED Plus light with timed sunrise/sunset feature, a Thrive automatic mister, two digital combo thermometer/hydrometers, two hides, a water dish, decor, a backup/spare CHE, extra unopened coco coir, metal feeding tongs, and a critter keeper for transport.
Please provide us some information regarding your experience with snakes if you're interested. It is imperative to us that he will be cared for, and not just fall into neglect once again.

Both sire and dam are family pets who hunt on the side. They each have a strong bond with their family, the sire belonging to my sister and the dam being a family pet for my three young children.
Both the sire and dam are from great hunting lines, are gun trained and have displayed their strong instincts in the field. The Sire is CKC registered and Dam is CKC and AKC registered.

She is 14.2 HH
This girl is a very unique colour. She was bred and raised by me and was born a bright little Palomino!
Although not tested her sire is a Palomino Dun with Sooty gene, and he looked identical to her as a 2 year old.
Every year “Garcia” has been a different colour and we suspect she will continue to get darker.
Garcia had 30 days put on her as a 3 year old, and 30 days on her as a 4 year old. She was starting to get lightly patterned on the barrel pattern and was doing really well. For the past two years she has taken a break from the arena and have been riding in the trails and is quite confident by herself and with other horses. She crosses water and mud with ease.
She has never offered to buck, or bolt.
She is getting consistently better every ride we go on and is confident in most things that come in her path, she may need a little reassurance from time to time so not a beginner horse yet but I have no doubts she would be in the future.
I would say she would need a quick refresher in the arena but it wouldent take long to get her back in shape. Just has had a break from any structured arena work for the past little bit.
She has been hauled to multiple arenas and is great in new places, she has been hauled to a few barrel races just to be in the environment. She is currently with a big heard of horses and does fine in there, she has also been in a field with just 1 other horse and does fine with that.
She has seen cows, hasn’t worked with them but she is familiar with them.
She loads good and hauls good, although I haven’t taken her for long distances I don’t see that being an issue.
She is good with the farrier and has good black feet, has always been barefoot.
She maintains weight well.
She has a big heart and is looking to please someone.
She has had the winter off due to no fault of her own
I want her going to a home where she will be used more to her best potential.
Only posting her because I don’t have the time she deserves and we have lots of young horses right now. Life plans changed and I won’t be hauling to arenas often to ride.

We've tied young horses beside her to train them. Driven team mostly but also driven single, 3 abreast, and lead in 4 up at fair. Never been ridden, but could be with training. Good with feet, trims free hand and also been hot shod free hand. Has raised foals and is excellent mother. Some restart horses below in the videos, couldn’t put a saddle on the first one when I got him in. Second wouldn’t run a barrel pattern without blowing up in the alley or on the pattern. Both successfully being ridden now by owners.
I keep my prices affordable so that people can help the horses that get over looked.

Introducing Sully of Baroque Friesian Ranch. A 3 year old Friesian stallion making his public debut in the breeding ring. He is 15.3 HH and still growing, so his babies will have substantial size and substance. He is a more traditional style of colt with thicker bone and musculature. His first baby will be arriving at our farm in late March. He has a very mild manner and is quiet enough that he lives among the geldings and mares. Live cover only at this time.
