Learn Web Development With Me :) Coding (No exp needed)

*This service is aimed at those with no or next to no experience with web development*

The world of web development is a fantastic place for you to exercise some creative juices, learn some new skills, and watch yourself build something cool and personal. But I understand it can be an overwhelming endeavor to take on alone. There's just so much you *could* learn and having a plethora of resources out there is a blessing, but can certainly leave you lost and confused where to start and how to proceed.

I was fortunate enough to be able to obtain a (pricey) college education in which I was able to benefit from structured learning, teachers to email, interactions with my peers, and participation in tutoring sessions where I both taught/helped and learned from others. But I understand the financial and time commitment required for this may not be readily available for everyone.

I believe in making learning accessible, affordable, and empowering for everyone; and it always helps to have a helping hand. So I want to offer personalized introductory web development learning sessions suitable for anyone, regardless of age or background. Together, we'll embark on an adventure to explore the fundamental building blocks of the web, unravel the mysteries of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and grasp the essential syntax and concepts in one hour blocks at a time (or more, if you want!). I have experience (outside of school) in teaching the basics to all ages from younger children to adults in their late 20s/early 30s.

My focus is always on finding the way that'll support your learning best. I'll use real life analogies, illustrations, and plenty of relatable and incomplex examples. I aim to break down technical topics into easily digestible pieces where transferrable knowledge can be applied.

To be completely transparent, this isn't a course where you come out of it an instant professional knowing everything and anything. *Neither is it a tutoring service where I help you answer homework or pre-existing assignments.* That being said: You coming out of this with new substantial knowledge every session is definitely my priority; after all, this is for you to learn some web development!

My goal is to equip you with enough understanding and skill to decide if web development is something you'd like to pursue further. At the end - of the learning material, not our alliance/connection! :) - you (or your child, etc) will have created and learned enough to be able to make a better informed decision on things such as:

- Does my child/young adult enjoy this enough to pursue it further in their education?
- Do I want to continue delving into this world and enroll myself in a post-secondary educational institute or bootcamp?
- I enjoy coding, but web development isn't really for me. Is there a different avenue of coding I can explore?

Additionally, you will also learn what HTML, CSS, and JavaScript are, how to write it, and how they are used together to create websites. You will learn things like high level web concepts, various syntax, variables, functions, conditionals, loops, arrays, and more.

Some logistics:

- 1 hour online sessions (could be longer, if desired) via Google Meets or other free platforms
- *The first session will run longer at no additional charge. Simply to account for some time for us to familiarize ourselves with each other and interact a bit
- Each session will be $20
- I have flexible scheduling we can work out together
- All that's required is a computer/laptop, internet connection, and a microphone!
- I will frequently ask for feedback in how to best support you personally and keep notes of it on my end

.Duration of how long it takes to complete all the learning material depends on the learning individual. I could give you a rough estimate if you ask via email, but it really varies on the individual's goals, the complexity, and learning speeds. It's important to me that those I work with are comfortable and not rushed, so I will do my utmost best to foster that environment so it would be disingenuous of me just spitball an arbritary number to you here.
