Duties and Responsibilities
Excellent organization and time management skills
Day-to-day administrative tasks including mail, scanning, photocopying
Answering phones, greeting patients, registering and booking patients
Answering or directing calls and e-mail requests for appointments.
Booking and maintaining appointments/ schedules for specialist
This individual will be required to work a variety of shifts, including days and Saturdays with the potential afternoon/evening shift (TBD)
Updating and maintaining patient charts; Accessing Alberta Netcare and the Clinic EMR
Data entry (patient demographics and information accurately into practice management and EMR systems.
Take payment or create invoices for uninsured services
Required Knowledge and Skills
Excellent data entry and keyboarding skills
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
One to two years of related experience in a clinic setting including knowledge of Medaccess
Current Health Care Provider CPR is required.
Background check:
A clear Criminal Background check, inclusive of a vulnerable sector search, is required to start (must be valid within 90 days).
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $15.00-$18.00 per hour
