We are searching for a Service Technician here at our shop to repair various kinds of welding equipment. The best way to describe what we do is we are like a car mechanic, except for welding equipment. It is a different side of the welding industry that few people think of. We are looking for people with good analytical thought processes, troubleshooting skills, basic knowledge of electrical and mechanical concepts, manual dexterity and able to work with small tools, and of course how to set up and use the welding equipment. All of these requirements are not necessary but would be an asset. We can train the right person in the welding equipment repairs; we just need them to have some basic skills and a willingness to learn.
Hawkes Electro-Arc Ltd. is a family owned and operated business that was established in 1976. We not only specialize in the repair of virtually all makes and models of welding and plasma cutting equipment and accessories, but we also supply a large portion of replacement parts and consumables across Canada. We provide all training for employees, and we provide field service work, preventative maintenance programs, and an extensive equipment calibration service to our customers.
If this niche industry sounds interesting to you, and you have a willingness to learn and grow, please send your resume to waynejr@hawkeselectroarc.com or call us at 519-653-1772.

John's journey in the staffing industry is truly a Canadian achievement. Dating back to 1995, when John joined the staffing industry right out of college. John has spent several years with large multinational companies helping to develop the Canadian market. With a string of accomplishments under his belt, including 9 years of industry experience and a track record of success, John felt it was time for a new challenge. With all the rapid changes affecting the industry, John noticed the degradation of values within the industry from which he had built his experience. Thinking that this was enough, he decided to reintroduce quality in the industry. He didn't know it at the time - but that quality standard later became PQAP (People Store Quality Assurance Program). With the encouragement of a close friend and already successful entrepreneur, Frank Cianciulli, John decided to go it alone and create a new kind of recruiting firm. In 2003, John designed his business plan and started the business from his kitchen table. With just an idea, a dream and a ton of ambition, John started one of the most successful staffing companies to ever reach the Canadian market. Job ID: 23119587
