A stunning, vintage (1960s) solid mahogany, 6 pc. bedroom suite.This remarkable set originates from the Middlesex Furniture Company, Strathroy,Ontario. In 1896, they opened their doors and for nearly 100 years were well known for making exceptional residential furniture. This unique piece of history comes with a double bed, dresser, highboy and matching side table. All of the drawers are dovetailed and comes with original hardware. It also comes with a box spring and Sealy Posturepedic mattress in excellent condition. Although the set has a bit of aging on some of its parts, these could be refinished to bring this outstanding vintage set back to its glory days since these sets are rare to find in the marketplace and true mahogany is outrageously priced. The bed measures 56 ½ wide, 75in. long and 40 in. high. The dresser measures 44 in. wide, 21 ½ in. deep and 35½ high. The highboy measures 34 in. wide, 19 in. deep and 47 ½ in. high. The side table measures 17 in. wide, 13 in. deep and 28 in. high. If you love vintage and want a piece of history as part of your home décor, this set is definitely for you. Located in Belleville.
