The Austin Healey Cobra … or the car that might have been the Cobra , had Carrol Shelby got his way back in 1961 …… In that year, Carroll Shelby approached Donald Healey with the idea of putting a V8 engine into the Austin-Healey 3000 to improve its performance. Regrettably for Shelby Healey was not interested ….. he saw this idea as a distraction as he was assembling and selling as many completed Healeys as he possibly could screw together with 90 percent of production going to North America. However …..Another name in Shelby’s Rolodex was Charles Hurlock, who owned A.C. cars in Thames Ditton, Surry, UK. Hurlock was interested and in 1962 the 1st AC V8 SHELBY roadster was assembled …… and the rest is history. AC cars is still in business making today, of all things, electric Cobras at a list price of over $250,000.
Now back to my car …...An ex works steel body V8 Austin Healey will set you back about $100,000, or you can buy my fiberglass version for $28,000.
Why am I selling such a beautiful car? The ONLY reason is that I am moving to South Africa where left hand drive vehicles are prohibited so regrettably I can’t take it with me.

History/Overview: Manufactured April 1979. Purchased from the original owner in June 2015. The truck was always parked indoors; including with the first owner who even had carpet on the floor of his garage. Well maintained with regular oil changes. These trucks are known for extreme durability and heavy towing capability. Odometer reads 30966 km.
Body: SuperCab (extended cab with 2 doors and rear jump seats). Long 8-foot bed. Chrome trim. Rear sliding window. Checker plate aluminum full perimeter box rail covers. Two tone paint.

Known issues: Small oil and transmission leaks but dry under the truck where parked. Bit of filler detected in the RH cab corner and in both rear quarters. Tailpipe secured with wire. Small rust bubbles in the RH and LH door front lower bottom corners, LH lower front box side, top RH side roof above windshield and LH cab corner. Rust spots on front bumper by each bumperette. Slight vibration at 100 km per hour (may be a wheel balance or a flat spot on a tire). AC need a recharge.

This is a mild custom. 302 Ford rebuilt by previous owner, Mustang T5- 5speed transmission, Edlebrock 4 barrel carb and Edlebrock intake manifold, Granada rear diff. Runs very strong. Power rack and pinion steering. Rad and heater core redone. Solid front crossmember. New gas tank, lines, fuel filter and new Stewart Warner electric fuel pump. New rear shocks last year.

Collectible 1984 K5 GMC Jimmy Sierra Classic Square Body very rare with Diesel engine package. US origin classic located Abbotsford British Columbia
Exceptionally well preserved for its age. Imported from the Nevada to Canada in 2012.
Dash shows less than 89,000 miles. Stock original condition after 42 years. Sierra Classic is the top-tier luxury trim which includes front bucket seats, velour fabric, power windows, center console and deluxe instrument panel. All exterior badges and 6.2 hood ornament are there.
Runs reliably. A/C working. Sounds like a NA 6.2 Diesel Humvee. 4X4 all working. Midnight Blue repaint has some marks and blemishes but can still shine. Headliner and Dash Top very good. No body or frame rust of concern. Tow hitch with 4 pin wiring harness for utility trailer towing. 4-speed Automatic Overdrive with transmission cooler. Block heater.
Not a restored vehicle this is an original classic in good running order and in very good original condition. Very suitable for a collector or an owner who wants a capable vintage sport utility vehicle for regular use. All carpets are intact and include matching floor mats and rubber mats. Small oil leak from engine front and rear main bearings - not fixed & no change since 2012. 2 tone blue seats have some tears starting in front seats from normal wear for this age. Front tires are quite good and rears have good tread but are old and ready for replacement. Front part of passenger side running board is off but have all parts for repair. Selling my caliente as is … 40 thousand kms on original 5 liter v8. Engine runs , but needs Some love , needs gas tank , and probably roof cover .
