I've had this ad down since the world went nutty in early 2020, and it's time to put it up again. I've met some great people in the past that I've trained with, a couple of whom have become good friends.
FYI, I'm vaccinated if that matters to you.I've been putting in an effort to being more active. I prefer to actually enjoy my work out/active time when possible. And it's also a hell of lot more motivating to do with others.
As far as general fitness/workouts, I'm up for hiking, running, swimming, diving/flips, handstands, biking, calisthenics (play grounds are awesome for this), plyometrics/hill sprints, parkour, crossfit, HIIT, weights, climbing, stretching, yoga, etc. In the nice weather months, I tend to spend the majority of my active time outside.
Sparring, boxing, kickboxing, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, wrestling, martial arts in general is what I've found to be the most fun and best type of workout, along with being a constant learning experience. So I prefer this, but I'm up for any/all of the above (or something completely new). If you don't have much experience with martial arts/combat sports and want to learn, I'm happy to pass on what I know (and if you ever end up becoming a UFC champion one day, I'll assume it's all due to my tutelage so I want a shoutout in your post-fight interview with Joe Rogan...and a pizza).

We currently are looking to fill 2 spots at our custom gaming table for our up coming campaign. Knowledge in the RPG world is a must.
We play many titles such as D&D 5E, Castles & Crusades, Swords & Sorcery and much more! We are currently preparing for a campaign in the world of Talisman. This is an epic game and is very story driven. It is based on the 80's game of the same title and pulls from the board game and builds the lore as well. If you have experience in the RPG world then grasping this game will be a breeze!
We play every Wednesday night 5:30 - 8:30. We play on a custom built RPG table that my company designed which houses a 50" smart T.V. to run moving maps. We are professional fundraisers who are based in London Ontario. We have developed a unique and fun fundraiser that any charity, any non-profit, any sports group or any group can use to raise money for their cause.
The fundraiser is supported by local restaurants and we expect that over 100,000 people will participate in London.

We are an established group of hockey players that have been playing together for many years. Periodically we need to go on a recruitment drive in need of new players. If you're interested, this is your opportunity.
This summer we are playing at Bostwick/StarTech Arena from 9:30 - 11:00 on Thursday nights. Our rentals are always 90 minutes; not the standard one hour rentals. Although we play pick-up, it's a fairly competitive game. We allow slap shots, but no contact beyond the usual scrimmaging along the boards. We don't discriminate with respect to age or gender. But we do prefer to keep beginners off the ice to maintain the overall quality of the game. It's your ability (not your age or gender) that matter to us.
You have the option of paying nightly. Or you can pay for the season. If you choose to pay as you go, cost is $25 per night. If you pay for the season, the cost is $20 per night. If you pay for the season, you are guaranteed a spot every night. (We limit our turnouts to 20 players.)
If you choose to join us, you have the option to continue with us in the winter. We play all year round.

It's very easy to fall into the trap of skin care routines that are too grown and unnecessary for your age group, or be convinced by marketing that you need expensive, specific products for self care. As cosmetology professionals, we aim to provide age-appropriate education on beauty trends- and have fun practicing it all!
We recommend bringing a friend (or a parent) as well, so you can do each other's nails or hair! :)
Each topic is 2 days for $100, or you can attend all three topics, a total of 6 days, for $200- that's less than $34 a day!

At Norcan, facilitating sustainable and mutually beneficial relationships with First Nation communities has always been at the core of Norcan’s business model. Consequently, we consult and encourage active participation from all interested First Nations. We constantly endeavour to generate economic growth and participate in the transfer of skills and training opportunities in every project.
To do this, it is our belief that any interdisciplinary project begins by building capacity at the community level by incorporating the needs and concerns of local planning initiatives and developments. This proactive approach mitigates any potential conflicts and facilitates the advancement of client projects within expected timeframes.
Under the supervision of the Director of Operations, the successful candidate is responsible for identifying, defining and deploying Norcan’s initiatives and strategies to establish sustainable and respectful relationships with British Columbia’s Indigenous communities, particularly where our archaeological projects are located. This person ensures the implementation of a strategy that allows Indigenous Peoples to fully participate in Norcan’s operations in collaboration with the various departments having to do with Indigenous relations (Government Relations, referrals, Business Development, Talent, Culture and Leadership, Communications, etc.). Based on best practices and current internal initiatives, and taking into account the needs of the communities located near Norcan’s projects, define a strategy to develop lasting and respectful relationships with Indigenous Peoples and contribute to the reconciliation process. Provide strategic advice on maintaining relationships with Indigenous people, communities and organizations.
Identify, track and monitor issues, concerns and needs identified by Indigenous communities, clients and partners and determine how Pomerleau can help them build mutually beneficial relationships and capacity building programs.Research, analyze and advise Management on regional, provincial and national issues that impact
Indigenous communities.
Develop and maintain ongoing relationships with key Indigenous communities and organizations,
particularly where our projects are located.
In collaboration with the ownership, help identify potential business opportunities with Indigenous
communities and organizations.
Contribute to the creation and negotiation of agreements and partnerships.
Liaise with project teams to ensure that the commitment to Indigenous communities is met and
documented appropriately. Determine clear and realistic objectives and develop performance indicators.

Develop a cultural awareness plan and training for employees and senior management.
Collaborate in the implementation of an internship program for Indigenous people.
QUALIFICATIONS
• University degree in environmental sciences, anthropology, Cultural heritage resource management, sustainable development, human science, community development, Indigenous studies or a similar field.
• At least three (3) years of experience in a similar role.
• Knowledge of the resource consulting industry.
• Knowledge of the different Indigenous communities in British Columbia
• Knowledge of Indigenous history, culture, and forms of governance.
• Understanding the current legal climate and issues affecting Indigenous Peoples and communities.
• In-depth knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
• Fluent in English
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Well-organized and self-directed.
• BC Driver’s Licence – Class 5 Available for occasional travel within British Columbia.
• Willing to travel to Indigenous communities and be flexible outside of Work Hours.

The purpose of this study is to examine couples’ daily relationship experiences. We are interested in a variety of experiences couples encounter on a day-to-day basis such as relationship quality, sexual quality, conflict, leisure activities, and so on. In this study, you and your partner will individually complete an online background survey (~60 minutes), a brief daily diary survey for 21 days (~10 minutes/day), as well as a 3-month follow-up survey (~15 minutes). We do not anticipate any psychological or physical risks to participants.
To thank you for your time, couples will receive up to $130 CDN (up to $65 per person CDN) in Amazon.ca gift certificates.
Eligibility requirements:
1) You and your partner have been in a romantic relationship for at least 2 years.
2) Both you and your partner must be willing to participate.
3) You and your partner must be available for 3 weeks (21 evenings) in the near future to complete a short online survey every night (individually).
4) You and your partner live together at least 5 out of 7 nights a week (i.e., not in a long-distance relationship). Moreover, you and your partner must not be isolating from each other due to COVID-19 pandemic quarantining procedures.
5) You and your partner must have a separate email address that only he/she has access to (i.e., no shared email accounts can be used for this study).
6) You and your partner would be able to have a 5-10 minute zoom call (with the camera on) with a research assistant to determine eligibility.
Your participation as well as your responses will be strictly confidential. This research is being conducted by Dr. Cheryl Harasymchuk (Professor) at Carleton University, Ottawa, Canada and is being funded by a Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada Insight Development Grant (435-2019-0635).This study has received clearance by the Carleton University Research Ethics Board–B, Canada (clearance #105046).
