Drop-in breathwork, Mondays 7-8 pm, $15
What to expect: this class will offer different breathing styles with breath retentions. This style of breathwork benefits the body and mind by increasing physical and mental resilience, improving immune function, clarity and focus. Breathers may also feel a greater ability to deal with stress and anxiety. Many also experience touching lightly into expanded states of awareness.
This breathwork differs from rebirthing/holotrophic/transformational breathwork where these modalities aim to release emotional tensions through prolonged breathing (usually 1+ hrs). Many are able to access the sub & unconscious mind where we can eliminate things that no longer serve us.
If you are interested in this modality, ask about Neurodynamic breathwork.Follow us on instagram @levity.dance.and.breathe for future events and classes!

Please note the date change... Mother Nature thinks we have some pretty amazing boats to be able to sail thru ice... So we have changed to May 21st. Here's hoping the ice will be gone by then!
We are once again having the Winnipeg Model Boat Club Annual Regatta on May 21st from 8am to 5pm. It is once again at the ice shack at Riley's Pond of Assiniboine Park. This event is free, all are welcome. There will be a static display of our model boats, and we will be sailing if weather allows. We will have military vessels, tugboats, fishing boats, yachts and speedboats, and maybe even some strange and unique watercraft...
Pictures are from our regatta, circa 2015. There will be lots of other boats and ships, different from these on display and in the water (if the ice melts). See you there!

Friends can support friends in many different ways, and one of the ways to support is by being a good Listener. This will be a friendship group for men who are facing difficulties in life or need friends who listen and understand. These Supportive Listening meetings are not about mentoring you or giving you advice, but allowing you to speak freely about your own thoughts. The assumption will be that you are a wise leader of your own life, and you will eventually find your path, at your own pace. If you feel this type of Supportive Listening meetings will be helpful to you, feel free to write me. I will plan for occasional local Group meetings usually in coffee shops.

Note of caution: A colorful flyer came in the mail this week advertising that an out of province outfit will be in Truro Monday, May 1, to buy gold and silver. Be aware that these types of buyers only offer a fraction of what your coins are worth. Make sure you know the true value of your item! Talk to a local dealer or collector first for a free estimate so you don't get ripped off by these outfits that slip into town for a day.
The next regular monthly meeting of the Central Nova Coin Club is scheduled for May 1st. And the Club annual show and bourse will be held Sunday, May 21st, from 9AM to 3PM, at the Best Western Conference Centre on Willow Street in Truro, with sellers and buyers from across the Maritimes. There will be an auction of numismatic items Saturday evening at 7 PM. Everyone is welcome. Admission Sunday is three dollars for adults,, kids are free, and there will be door prizes.
Regular meetings of the Central Nova Coin Club are scheduled for 7 PM on the first Monday of each month throughout the year. Meetings are held in the large meeting space at the Truro Recreation Department Building (former Douglas Street School), 40 Douglas Street in Truro. Visitors are welcome.
There will be a short business meeting to deal with club activities, followed by an informational program on some aspect of numismatics. Then there will a mini auction of coins, tokens or paper currency brought in by members. Visitors are welcome to participate. Payment by cash only please. Department of Health Covid protocols at the time will be in effect and those who wish to wear masks are encouraged to do so.
There will be club members present who are knowledgeable and happy to appraise old coins, tokens and paper currency, and provide a free estimate of their value. You should always know the value of your collectable items before you part with them. It is wise to obtain an appraisal from a numismatist or a collector you know and trust.
Always BEWARE of the outfits with fancy advertising that flit into town on a weekend and only pay a very small percentage of what a coin is actually worth. We have heard so many horror stories of people who have been ripped off. DO NOT BECOME VICTIM OF THESE UNSCRUPULOUS OUTFITS BECAUSE YOU DO NOT KNOW THE TRUE VALUE OF YOUR COIN.
CLUB TIP : -Never, NEVER clean or polish old coins; it will ruin the collectable value. Too many coins with potential value have been ruined by someone trying to make the coin shine.
Anyone with an interest in coin, token or paper currency collecting is welcome to attend one of our meetings. Perhaps you will be interested in joining this popular hobby group. Just show up, or if you wish more information, please use this contact message or google Central Nova Coin Club or check out our club Facebook page.

Hi, looking for a partner to play squash early in the morning on weekdays. I have access to squash court and can bring you in as guest.
I am mid thirties male, would like to think an average player, non-competetive, mainly looking for an early morning fitness routine.
