Monday, January 13th
Noon to 5pmLocation: Where Faeries Live
7933-104 Street NW
Edmonton, ABJoin us at Where Faeries Live for a new tradition: our Full Moon Community Altar!
We'll set up the altar in Pink's Parlor. You're welcome to bring your own candle, or buy one in-store, to light on the altar.
Or, for a small fee, we can carve, dress, and light the candle for you.
If you can't make it into the store on December 15th, you can pre-order your carved and dressed candle here on EventBrite! You'll have your choice of candle colour and dressing oil in the checkout section, along with space to note down your intention for this candle. We'll take care of the rest.
We offer dressed chime candles (approx 30min burn time) or dressed 7in taper candles (approx 7-hour burn time) in a range of colours. We also have a variety of single-note essential oils and WFL-exclusive oil blends we can use to dress your candle.
The intention behind the candle is all up to you. But if you're stuck for ideas, consider this list of correspondences for the Harvest Moon, quoted from Moon Magick by D.J. Conway (Chapter 4, page 21-22)
Nature Spirits: gnomes, brownies
Herbs: marjoram, holly thistle, nuts and cones
Colors: brilliant white, blue-violet, black
Flowers: snowdrop, crocus
Scents: musk, mimosa
Stones: garnet, onyx, jet, chrysoprase
Trees: birch
Animals: fox, coyote
Birds: pheasant, blue jay
Deities: Freyja, Inanna, Sarasvati, Hera, Ch'ang-O, Sinn
Power Flow: sluggish, below the surface; beginning and conceiving. Protection, reversing spells. Conserving energy by working on personal problems that involve no one else. Getting your various bodies to work smoothly together for the same goals.
(Please note: these correspondences are not meant to limit your intentions for this month's candle. You can choose any intention for your candle that you desire. These are just suggestions for related elements you can add to your intention, or ideas to help you choose an intenton for this Full Moon.)All who visit us in-store to add their candles to the altar are welcome to stay in Pink's Parlor and meditate if desired. We'll have chairs and meditation cushions available.

You are invited to listen to some sharing from the Holy Bible - King James Version. We will be singing some hymns from the Old & New Hymns book. There will be a prayer at the beginning of the meeting. There will be some sharing. And then another prayer to close the meeting. You are welcome to come and listen. We all have a living soul and that soul has a need. We're so thankful for God's precious gift - Jesus whom He sent to the world...a gift to show to us the purpose of life.

Are you dealing with health problems? Or are you simply curious about your health?
Find out about potential imbalances and check if your results from your main healthcare provider fall within the "normal" range.
Nutritional imbalances in our cells and organs have been known for a long time. Many people do not get enough essential nutrients: about 90% are low in potassium, 70% in calcium, and 80% in vitamin E. More than half of the population also lacks vitamins A, C, and magnesium. Vitamin D deficiency affects at least 50% of individuals, regardless of age, and nearly 90% of those with darker skin are also lacking this vitamin. According to the CDC, 60% of adults have one or more chronic diseases, which can often be improved with targeted nutrition for cells.
Most people don’t realize that Medical Doctors do not get training in cellular nutrition, which is different from just having a "balanced diet." Understanding this can lead to surprising health benefits. I wish I had known this 30 years ago. For the past 25 years, I was confused by misleading "new age" marketing. In the end, I found myself in a doctor's office, where I was given many pills that only made me feel worse.
Thyroid issues are becoming more common each year. Problems with the pituitary gland can lead to symptoms like tension headaches, migraines, vision problems, and glaucoma. The term "allergy" was redefined in 1925, leaving out many conditions, including hypersensitivity. Hypoglycemia is often seen in psychiatric patients and those with aggressive behaviors. Essential fatty acids are frequently missing from North American diets. As people age, stomach acid and other important substances usually decrease, especially in those over 40. This decline in gut health and nutrient absorption can harm cellular reproduction.
You can take this free survey here: https://www.nutrirebel.com/questions/cell-organ-research-tool.html
I am nearing the end of my training as an orthomolecular healthcare practitioner, and I’m offering.
