Yes, it is amazing that such a beautiful little flower and such a vital part of God's creation could even exist in such a location !!! I discovered this little gem while on a short walk one day and the profound revelation which stands to reason is that God's beauty can exist anywhere and at any time that HE chooses in this fallen world. Truly God's beauty knows no bounds and can flourish in all circumstances and in any environment....Further, I believe that we are all unconditionally loved by him especially the fallen and broken ones in this world who are hurting. When you find yourself therefore in the gutter of life, lift up your head and know that God alone is there for your support and nourishment. All that HE asks is that you call upon him in truth and believe HIS word. You are not required to go and perform any ritual works to save yourself as this has already been done for you at the cross. He created you for a purpose and will always be there for you.....Your beauty is God's reflection on you most definitely !!! Live your life to the fullest in God's grace and direction because YOU HAVE VALUE. As it is plainly written for all to see "There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, who live according to the Spirit and not according to the flesh"...Romans 8:1.

Wing Chun is a scientific close range combat system developed by a nun at the Southern Shaolin temple about 300 years ago. It teaches the use of proper body mechanics and structure to generate soft yet explosive power and to neutralize/use an opponent’s force against them. Proper application of wing chun techniques allow a smaller person to deal with and overcome a much larger and stronger opponent. We teach year-round so there's no gap in students development (eg. no summer or seasonal breaks).
Our goal is to show our students the path to becoming the fighter they hope to be. We teach: hand forms, applications, and Wing Chun sticky hands (Chi Sao) – a combat simulation exercise that transforms fighting techniques into natural reflexes. Chi Sao uses the sense of touch to defend and counter-attack approximately 7x's faster than the sense of sight.
We practice the Yip Man style of Wing Chun.
Our Lineage is: Yip Man
1) Moy Yat & Greco Wong
2) Kam Wong & Tony Yung
3) RD Wing ChunBruce Lee received his start in Kung Fu at Yip Man's Wing Chun school in Hong Kong and is what he based his style: Jeet Kune Do on. Moy Yat and our school's Grand Master, Greco Wong, were senior students of Yip Man when Bruce Lee started learning Kung Fu.
We are affiliated with the Wing Chun Kung Fu Institute of Learning in Calgary. More information about our lineage can be found at:
http://www.wing-chun.ca/
We have a formal class every Tues evening from 6:30 - 8:30pm and Sat 10 – 11:30am at Mid-Alta Motors in Red Deer. We encourage students to meet up with each other and practice throughout the week in order to reinforce the lessons learned in class.
This class is our passion, not our primary source of income, so we will teach you as much as you can learn and perfect. We don't believe in teaching slowly to keep you paying monthly dues. We also don't have fees for belt tests, uniforms or annual dues. We want our students to be the best they can be as we believe their skill is a reflection of our teaching.
If you're interested in Wing Chun and want to train with others passionate about Wing Chun then please show up at our training facility for a free no-obligation introductory class. If you wish to participate, please wear relaxed clothing and bring a clean pair of ‘inside’ shoes. Due to the nature of our partner drills and training regime we are an adult only class. Age 16+

For more information, please call us at (781) 932-6300 or see: www.foodaddicts.org
Food Addicts in Recovery Anonymous (FA) is a Twelve Step program of recovery for anyone who suffers from over eating, under eating, bulimia, or obsession with food, weight or body size. There are no dues or fees, and gatherings are open to anyone who wants to stop eating addictively.
Does FA work? Some of our members have been in continuous recovery and are maintaining a stable, healthy weight and enjoying freedom from obsession with food, weight, bingeing, or bulimia for over thirty-five years. Members with ten and twenty years of recovery are increasingly common.
Who might benefit from FA? People who find help in FA vary greatly. Some of us have been diagnosed as morbidly obese while others are undereaters. Among us are those who were severely bulimic, who have harmed themselves with compulsive exercise, or whose quality of life was impaired by constant obsession with food or weight. We tend to be people who, in the long-term, have failed at every solution we tried, including therapy, support groups, diets, fasting, exercise, in-patient treatment programs, and surgery.
Please go to our website to get the most current information about our gatherings (dates, times, contact people, etc.): www.foodaddicts.org/find-meeting

Workplace Standard First Aid/ Level C CPR (Adult/Child/Infant) /AED (WSFA)
There are two methods we use to deliver the course, but they are exactly the same course, which gives you the ability to choose which option works best for you. The 2-day in-class Workplace Standard First Aid/ Level C CPR (Adult/Child/Infant) /AED (WSFA) course and the Blended Online (8 Hours) – In-Class (8 hours) Learning Workplace Standard First Aid/ Level C CPR (adult, child & infant)/AED course.
Please note: The Workplace Standard First Aid/ Level C CPR (Adult/Child/Infant) /AED (WSFA) course certificates expire three years from the date of issue. To fulfill First Aid requirements for this course each participant who is the main first aid provider on shift must have a minimum of six hours practice each year in First Aid Skills. This review is for individuals currently holding a WSFA certification. It does not replace or renew a WSFA certification. Every three years a WSFA course must be completed again.
1. The Blended Online (8 Hours) – In-Class (8 hours) Learning Workplace Standard First Aid/ Level C (adult, child & infant) CPR/AED course cost is $125.00 (including tax) which includes the on-line portion, class portion, certification card, and gloves.
- You should register and make payment as soon as possible to be able get a seat and to have enough time to complete the online portion prior to the in-class date. Anytime before the course, you can work on completing the online. If possible, we suggest starting the online a week or two before the date to have enough time to complete it as it can take up to 8 hours and time to call the Canadian Red Cross if you need help. I can only send the online once, I cannot assist you with the online or help you obtain your certificate, due to privacy rights I don’t have access to them, only the Canadian Red Cross can. Make sure On-line is entirely completed before the class!! The online is only valid for 6 weeks from the time it is completed. If you rebook to a different date after you have completed the on-line for this course, then you will have to complete the on-line again.
- Warning about accessing online:
1. Please do not make a profile without using the email with the link from the Canadian Red Cross. You will end up with two profiles and won’t be able to access your online. You will have to call the Canadian Red Cross and have them merge your two accounts in order to access it if that happens.
2. Please do not forget which login method you use the first time you register with the Canadian Red Cross link in their email. (One of the following: Blue Sign in button using email and password/ Microsoft/ Google/ Facebook/ Linkedin) If you use a different method the second time you will end up with basically two profiles again. I believe that using the regular sign in is the easiest and less confusing way to go and to prevent any errors- Please note there is no refund policy. See below for more details.
Course Information:
The Blended Online – In-Class Learning for Workplace Standard First Aid/ Level C CPR (adult, child & infant)/AED course consists of two parts:1. The 8-hour online component (must be done anytime before the in-class portion)
