Job Title: VDC Coordinator / Specialist – MEP (All Experience Levels Welcome)
• Location: Clarington, ON
• Job Type: Full-Time, several positions available.
• Target Hiring Areas: Clarington, Durham Region (Oshawa, Whitby, Pickering, Ajax), City of Kawartha Lakes, Peterborough, and Northumberland County (Cobourg, Port Hope).
• Experience Level: Junior to Advanced / Senior (Pay and responsibilities scale with experience; we train juniors with strong tech/gaming skills!)

We are seeking MEP VDC Operators and Coordinators across all experience levels to join our team based out of Clarington, ON. Whether you are an industry veteran or a PC/gaming enthusiast looking to pivot your elite 3D spatial skills into a high-paying career closer to home, we have a spot for you.
Our team bridges the gap between high-performance computing and real-world construction engineering. You will use your technical mindset to build ultra-detailed 3D MEP models, solve complex spatial puzzles, organize documentation, and drive fabrication clients.

Choose Your Track: Responsibilities by Experience Level
️ Junior Level (We Will Train You!)
• Learn the Trade: Master Autodesk Revit and Navisworks through our mentorship.
• Basic Modeling: Route and coordinate basic HVAC ductwork, piping, drainage, and electrical conduit within virtual spaces.
• Documentation & Tracking: Use Microsoft Excel and Word to track project files, log software issues, and manage daily data entries.
• Support: Help prepare basic spool and shop drawings for prefab clients.
⚡ Intermediate / Advanced Level
• Full Coordination: Lead clash detection processes in Navisworks Manage and confidently run multi-trade coordination meetings.
• High Detail Modeling: Build and manage highly detailed MEP trade models up to LOD 400 for direct fabrication.
• Data Management: Utilize advanced Microsoft Excel formulas (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables) and Microsoft Teams, schedules, and cross-team communications.
• Field Integration: Conduct site visits across local project sites, perform field validation, and integrate laser scan / reality capture data into models.

What We Look For (Required Tech & Transferable Skills)
• Spatial Intelligence: Advanced 3D spatial awareness and navigation skills—often developed through complex 3D gaming, simulation environments, modding, or design software.
• PC & Office Literacy:
o Solid proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 products (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams).
o Strong understanding of computer hardware configurations (CPUs, GPUs, RAM) to optimize demanding VDC software performance.
• Local Commute Flexibility: Ability to report to our Clarington office and travel to project sites across the greater Toronto area.
• Software Skills:
o For Juniors: Basic familiarity with AutoCAD, and Revit is a plus, but eagerness to learn is our top priority.
o For Advanced: Mastery of Revit, Navisworks Manage, and BIM 360/ACC. Experience with MEP plug-ins (SysQue, Fabrication CADmep) is highly preferred.
• Problem-Solving Mindset: A natural knack for treating complex spatial layouts like a high-stakes puzzle.
