My husband and I both work full time and our 2 children (13 months, and 3.5 years) are in daycare full time. We are mostly looking for help with meal preparation, but other duties would include:

Duties
• Work Monday to Friday 8-hour shift
• Complete rough carpentry, Finish Carpentry, and form work carpentry duties
• Read and interpret blueprints
• Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools
• Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials
• Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems
• Fit and install trim items, such as doors, stairs, moulding and hardware
• Maintain, repair and renovate residences and wooden residences and commercial /industrial settingsEducation/Experience/Certification
• 4 years of experience required
• Preferred Journeyman or 3 years of formal Apprenticeship completed
• Ability to work independently and collaborate in a team environment
• Ability to take initiative and be proactive on the job progress
• Capable of completing physical work, including heavy lifting of 50+ lbs
• Knowledge of tools, equipment, materials, and installation practices common to carpentry trade
• Knowledge of applicable building codes, standards, and regulations
