I have a new batch of button quail chicks looking for their forever homes! These are the older siblings for an idea on their colour. I will be rehoming them at 3-4 weeks old, once they are ready to be without a heat lamp.
Selling for $20 per PAIR of birds, as buttons are incredibly social. Can also sell in larger groups, this batch has 7 babies that will be looking for their forever homes. There is also some older males from other pairs for those interested
This variety of quail is absolutely tiny, only about the size of a hamster! They don’t like the cold, making them an indoor pet here. They do well in a large hamster setup or front opening reptile aquarium with a mesh lid for ventilation. They also do well in the bottom of aviaries as they tend to keep to themselves and help cleanup any fallen food. For any care questions, feel free to inquire!

Sadly I have to rehome my 2 Cockatiel birds, I will not separate them under any condiotion, one is female and one is male. Female is 3, male is an outstanding 33 so no worry about breeding as he is now infertile due to age. They are not cage birds. I will not be rehoming them to anyone who does not have a appropriate amount of space for them to fly (a bedroom) as that is what they are used to. They are lovely birds, one of them loves cuddling and will sit on your hand all day if you let him, the female is a little more timid as she's still young but the two of them get along amazing. She lives in courtenay and we recently found out she is no longer in her apartment and is at maple pool encampment living in a tent and he was seen there in late July. She is with Sylvie McCharles and Sylvie’s boyfriend Joe and her granddaughter she recently got out of foster care Trinity. I am devastated. I just had a major surgery weeks ago so my health is improving I was getting ready to get him back. He is microchipped and registered to me. I have posted everywhere I could to get more reach.…if this happened to your family member would you not try everywhere. This is real and is not a scam, I am only asking for tips nothing else. Details: The average cage nowadays will put you down by minimum $120 and this my cage is quite spacious and free to roam in for these birds. While the birds themselves from petsmart cost about $50 UNTAMED and UNLOVED wheras these my birds are lived and tamed. And the toys themselves aren't all that cheap either.
Given the details I'm just trying to find my little birds a good and loving home.

Dango is the sweetest bird you’ll ever meet! It is with a heavy heart that I rehome him, as I am not giving him the attention and time he deserves.
He is not DNA sexed, but I call him a boy. Clean bill of health! 2 Years old!
He knows how to spin, can do some recall, and sings along to music (or screams along). He is fully flighted and MUST stay that way. He loves to fly from his cage to his playstands, or right to you as you enter the room. He loves to get head scritches and will even beg for them. He only nips when you overstep a boundary in terms of touching anywhere but his head! I am also currently working on harness training him. He would do well with another birdy friend or on his own with tons of people time! He has liked everyone he’s met.
He comes with his cage, all perches, toys, and food as well as one branch playstand. You will need a vehicle to transport everything as well as a carrier for Dango as I do not have one. I cannot deliver.

Hand fed and expected to wean just after Christmas. Weaning is a process to eat well enough on his own. We never for e wean so exact date is undetermined for pick up. Visitation is recommended to handel the baby during his growth awaiting his full self ability to sustain his weight. During visits you can request to hand feed his next meal.
Love Birds do well as pets in a human environment. They are chatter birds but the pitch is not excessive, imo.
LovebirdS are one of the smaller parrot species available as a companion. They are inquisitive and seemingly always on the go. As their name suggests, lovebirds are known for the loving, attentive bond they tend to form with their caregivers.
