Chico (roan colouring) is a typical Brittany and follows his nose. His previous person said he is a nose with 4 legs, Chico was being trained as a scent dog by a dog handler until he came back into our care so he would benefit from someone who could continue this or similar training with him. He is affectionate, bright and has a unique personality that will have you wrapped around his paw in minutes. He is nose to the ground on walks and he enjoys meeting other people and dogs.
Parents are family pets with strong hunting instincts. Mom is from the French Brittany line hence the black and white colouring and weighs 35 lbs and Dad is from American Brittany line and is liver and white and weighs 48 lbs.
This breed is a very loving, cuddly, playful and they want and need their humans to interact with them intellectually. Allowing time to stop and smell everything on walks is a must and off leash time is enjoyable but must be done in a safe environment as we love to follow our prey (birds, rodents, deer, etc.)

Remy is extremely smart. Very easily trained. We got her because our older dog had cancer. Cancer is in remission and we are not able to have 2 dogs where we are.
Our hearts will break, but we do not have the option.

#3 - light brown male is the smallest puppy of the litter. He is very playful and sweet natured. He will make a loving companion.
#4 - black and multi-coloured female is a bit more observant than the others. She is more calm when it comes to feeding, and sweet, and gentle with the kisses.
#5 dark brown brindle female is feisty when it comes to fighting over bones. She's a little sweety and is spoken for.
#6 black and brown brindle male is the big boy of the litter. He has a mellow demeanour, like his papa. He's was the first one to play fight with mom. He'll do well as an outdoor dog with his beautiful fluffy coat.
#7 black, brown and white female is very feisty, often taking on the males when play fighting, and is one of the sweetest, most gentle cuddlers of them all.
#8 black brown and white male I've already nicknamed Curious George, and he's also the first to want to join for a hike. He's got a sweet nature, and will make an excellent companion.

The pups parents are both our family pets and have proven to be wonderful companions. They are both AKC/CKC registered, genetically tested for harmful traits, and come from champion pedigrees.
