Easy keeper 24/7 outdoors. Healthy and happily settled into a slower paced life after a lifetime of hard farm work.
She is up to date with vaccines and farrier. She was stubborn to lift her hind legs for the farrier as many drafts can be when I first got her but now she’s very confident and responsive.
She stands in cross-ties and just stands patiently waiting for instructions.
Since I bought her I’ve done a lot of ground work and horsemanship. She’s smart and learns quickly, and we were able to bond easily. She learned to ride in an indoor arena as the months got colder. And participated in a riding clinic with a bunch of other horses and ponies and we even attempted a musical ride! Which turned out really funny and we had a blast.
I have a regular western saddle on her with a 44” girth, and 6” bit. I can add the head stall with bit and reins and the girth to the sale.
I decided to put her up for sale as I am a sporadic weekend rider and am quite a timid rider as well. I should be really looking at a part-board and she will make someone else very happy as she has a lot of good will and energy in her and it’s be a shame if she stands around most of the time without being ridden.

It’s with a heavy heart that I’m looking to find a new home for my two beloved geldings. Life is changing as I head back to school, and I just can’t give them the time, attention, and exercise they deserve. They have so much potential and need someone who can continue working with them and helping them grow.
✨ Palomino (15.2hh, 12 years old) – Full of energy and eager to work! He thrives with consistent groundwork and enjoys having a job to do. He’s spunky, responsive, and willing but needs an intermediate rider while he continues to build confidence.
✨ Grey (15.2hh, 12 years old) – A bit more on the calm side but can be spooky at times. He responds well to one-on-one exercises and gains trust through patience and consistent handling. Once he trusts you, he is a sweetheart!
Both are in great health, have had their teeth floated last fall, and are up to date on everything. They are from the same stud and have been ridden recently but do need continued groundwork. They are good with kids but will require an intermediate rider until further training is established.

Cappuccino
11 year old gelding that has done it all on the ranch, he has been ridden by multiple riders at many ranch rodeos, roped bulls, cows and calves, can walk calmly into a herd or run down a critter. He has one man doctored cows and calves, worked an alley and can sort and cut like a champ. He has started many colts in a round pen and can handle himself well ponying colts. measures at about 16 hands. He has been rode in a snaffle, hackamore, two rein and is now straight up in a half breed bridle bit. This horse can go all day and is one you can count on to get a job done. Cappuccino was used as our go to horse all of last summer on a 2000 head cow/calf operation, covered some big country, calving, doctoring, moving herds, and fencing. He is calm, quiet, and friendly. Anyone can ride him but has more whoa than go with a novice rider.

Geo would do best with a confident intermediate rider or possibly a confident beginner with a trainer. He’s a little bit more go than whoa and will test his rider a bit.
Geo worked on a cattle ranch out west before we bought him. Since then he’s been started on the barrel pattern and has competed in a few club shows. He’s done some other western games too.
He’s also done:
-Extensive trails
-Overnight camping
-River and bridge crossings
-Pole work
-Extensive groundwork
-Liberty work
-Bareback riding
He’s a fancy mover and has beautiful collected and extended gates.
He’s great around kids, dogs, and other farm animals. Stands for farrier, great with the trailer and tolerates baths. He’s easy to catch from the field and does great with other horses.
Geo does best with consistent work as he likes a job to do. Without consistant work, his muscles get pretty tight and sore. Because of this he’s been getting massages every 4-6 weeks which helps.
Geo is up to date on everything and has no serious health issues. He does get sensitive to bug bites and swells a bit from them. I can send images upon request of this. We just put a full fly rug and mask on him during the summer and this prevents most issues.
I’m selling him because I’m looking for something very relaxed to do casual riding with. Geo is a very smart and talented horse with so much potential and I don’t want to see that go to waste.

We have decided to sell our very sweet minis.
The smaller one, Spike, is 22 years old and the slightly larger one is Peppy, and he’s 21 years old.
We have had spike since he was 6 years old. He was trained to drive by his previous owners and my 4 daughters rode him up until they all outgrew him. We have always absolutely loved this little guy, he has such a sweet disposition and loves attention. He’s great with any size horses and he seems to love every horse he meets.
Peppy was given to us a couple years later, when he was 7 years old and my 4 girls rode him and jumped him until they outgrew him as well. He’s a very sweet little guy that likes attention as well.
They were very well used up until about 5 years ago when my kids outgrew them. Will only sell them together.

Very sweet 4 year old gelding with lots of ground work done. He has been ridden once by a trainer who absolutely loved him and wanted to buy him but that wa a before he knew he was lame.
Unfortunately we bought this horse from a very dishonest horse lady and when we took him out of the trailer realized he was lame. There is something wrong with his hock. Unfortunately after spending $2800 to purchase him I do not want to put anymore money into him to see what the problem is. The previous owner refuses to talk to me so I have no way of knowing how serious it is.
He’s an incredibly sweet horse.

Nellie is a 2014 solid paint-bred APHA mare standing approximately 14+hh.
She has predominantly been a broodmare in her life, so is VERY green. She had 30 days on her in Dec 2023 with Colby Thiessen, before having 2024 off to have her foal. She is now continuing her training, and remembered her foundation. She needs a knowledgeable and patient hand, who knows how to bring a sensitive horse along. Picks up patterns quickly, super smart, but sharp & sensitive, so could be reactive. When her sensitivity is channelled, she will be an incredible ride for someone!
As a broodmare in 2024, she was a great mom, gave birth to a big beautiful, correct filly without help, attentive, and then weaned calmly. Has had previous foals as well.
On solo trail hand walks she is thoughtful of where she puts her feet, and does not hesitate over logs, through water, mud etc.
She is getting more relaxed with picking up her feet, will load, ties, and is not herdbound.
She will be an amazing partner for someone who understands and enjoys sensitive horses. I could see her especially excelling in cowhorse/western disciplines. I like her, just got her in a horse trade last year and she's not quite what my family needs right now. Located in Telkwa, BC

JEWEL is a schoolteacher and was used on trails and for dressage in the arena. She is very gentle and affectionate. Loves all people and will do anything to please. Jewel is sired by Sacred Bear with an ROM in Reining. Her dam is a Thoroughbred mare, which is where her size and elegance comes from. Jewel has a long smooth stride and is amazing to sit on. Like a Cadillac. Jewel has not been ridden for the last year due to owners progressing disability.
She is being offered as a wonderful companion to a great family. Jewel is sound and still has a lot of miles left with her enjoyable amazing movement and stride. Video and photos show how beautiful she is. She has produced two offspring with her size and movement both times. One was a Medicine Hat Paint. She produces beautiful unique markings.

Ace has a very sweet, laid back disposition which makes him very easy to handle. He has begun his driving training and is excelling very well. He will make an excellent Western Country Pleasure driving horse. Ace was shown at our local shows in 2023 and excelled in all the performance classes that he entered, taking home multiple 1st places in his jumping classes. Ace is an excellent candidate for a all-around youth horse as either a stallion or a gelding. He has also been colored tested and carries one copy of both the LP and the PATN1 gene.
