We’re opening our books for this year !
For those who don’t know us, we are a small family farm in Coombs. While I was a full time farrier (shoeing horses) unfortunately had to stop when I was pregnant. As many self employed families know we unfortunately don’t receive any sort of maternity pay so we started raising beef, pork and we were doing lamb then too (unfortunately with rising costs it is one thing we’ve had to stop) just so we could be putting food on our table. It became quite a passion, being able to know what we are feeding our family and knowing that there’s no additives, not pumped of grains and chemicals in feed lots and that it’s being processed at a government inspected incredible family run facility !
We’ve continued with our passions and are so happy to be able to continue to offer to the rest of our community!
Not only do you get to know what you’re feeding your families but buying in bulk gives you great savings while still being able to enjoy the higher end steaks because let’s face it how many of us could afford to eat rib eyes otherwise! We have a couple rounds of beef march through October, our pork is March and August.
Beef will be starting at the same as last years pricing $8lb hanging weight
Pork is $7lb hanging weightBeef is once again for sale by the 1/8, 1/4 1/2 and whole.
A 1/8 of beef is roughly $800Pork is available by the side and whole, a side roughly $650

2 Saanen x NDG bucklings and 1 doeling. Up for discussion and new homes when they’re weened off their mamas. Born January 2 and 3 2024. They share the same father- Saanen, and their mothers are sisters- NDG. They seem like they will be a good size, not sure if they’ll be mini Saanens, or if they’ll be closer to the Saanen size. Bucklings can be wethered if desired or left intact. Not registered but grandparents are of reputable bloodline.

Pair of Brown Chinese Geese for sale!
One male, one female from same hatching. Born February 2022. Easy to care for, requiring little to no feed as they are excellent foragers and enjoy free ranging all day. The female also lays lovely large eggs.
We bought them to guard our chickens, but they have become far too aggressive with our turkeys.
Would like them to go as a pair as they are very attached. $100 for both, but willing to negotiate price to good home.

*SOLD Two wonderful Angora goats for sale!
These twin wethers, now a year old, are our fibre pets. Their mohair is beautiful! They are very friendly, come easily (they are literally like dogs), stand nicely for shearing and hoof trimming, and have had no health concerns.
Sadly, we have to downsize our flock and would like these two to go together as they are very attached.
Willing to negotiate price to a great home.

Pink halter for sale in Fort St John BC, very nice solid 13 year old draft cross mare, broke to ride English and western, moves off the leg, ties well, easy for the farrier, goes out alone or with others on trails, goes through water well, easy to load and trailer, very little spook and no funny business.
She’s super friendly and loves attention, can be ridden in a bridle or bit less (halter, side pull, or bosal). Would go well in any direction, but has experience trail riding, arena riding, and starter level eventing. Very reasonable in nature and would make a great husband horse.
The reason I’m selling her is that I have too many horses and she’s not getting used. The only trouble I’ve had with her is that she’s developed a problem with her ears being touched, the vet and chiropractor have both checked and can’t find anything physically wrong with her ears or head so I’m sure this will be able to be resolved with consistent handling and the right person. My intention is to continue working on desensitizing that area until she’s sold but I have a back injury that limits how much i can do.
If you’re interested and would like more information please send me a message and we can discuss further. Asking $5000.00, open to reasonable offers, hauling can be arranged at buyers expense.
