On top of our vast selections of chicks, Beau Peep Farms will once again be offering Orlopp Bronze Turkeys for the 2024 season. These beauties will get to 35 - 40 pounds in 5 months. We processed ours last year at 5½ months and he was 44 lbs.
These will be offered on the May 4, Jun 1 and Jun 29 hatches.
If you want a turkey for Thanksgiving, order it for May 4 or Jun 1 for processing in early October (Thanksgiving is Oct 13 / 14 depending on which day you want it). May will yield maximum size or for a smaller bird, order on the Jun 1 hatch.
Jun 29 hatch will be GREAT for Christmas!!

I’ve kept this rooster because he is such a beautiful boy with such a lovely character. He is sweet and curious. Always running to see if we have treats for him. He is also the smartest of all the roosters I’ve raised this year. Unfortunately I do not have enough hens for him and his father to share and he is getting bullied.
I’d love to see him go to a flock of hens as he is a special rooster.
I’ve had his dad 5 years and have not lost a single hen to hawk or eagle under his protection.
His mom is a White Sussex, our sweetest hen.
