The Doodle Den, located on Vancouver Island, has welcomed seven beautiful goldendoodles who will be ready for their new homes after April 1.
These puppies have been following a unique training program since they were just three days old. It is a mixture of the Bad A$$ Breeder program and training from our own experience as owners of this wonderful, loving, smart breed. We work through Early Scent Detection and Early Neurological Stimulation. We work through a progression of handling exercises, noise desensitization, and the introduction of many daily household activities and items. The pups spend time with their mom and our doodle pack in a controlled, monitored safe space both inside and outside.
When it comes time we will do our best to match gender and colour preferences but our goal is to place based on personality, our pups will be going through an evaluation at 7 weeks old to determine their stable traits such as assertiveness, motivation, energy level, prey drive and their adjustable traits - confidence, resiliency, touch tolerance, etc.
Momma Ash is a 43lb f1b goldendoodle.
Daddy Finley is 19lb f1b goldendoodle.
Both have been Embark tested and are clear of genetic defects.
They were matched for their great personalities. The puppies are a great combo of mom and dad. Smart, friendly, soft, cuddly, playful, and confident.They will have their first shots, a vet visit and first groom before they go home. These adorable puppies will be available for adoption around April 22 at 10 weeks of age. I like to be certain they are ready. Their dew claws are removed and will go to their new home after worming, vet check and first set of shots. They are being raised with much love and cuddles in a 3 generational home with cats and lots of socializing. There are 3 females and 2 males.
Mom is a Bichon Frise and dad a Maltese. They are pictured in photo 1 and 2. The picture of entire litter is taken today in their first graduating sized enclosure. It will grow as they do.
Puppies will come with a week worth of food, a favourite chew toy and blanket that will have mom and litter mate’s scent.
They are little cuddle bugs and can’t wait to meet their new families.
