Backup panel runs the wood boiler pumps, furnace, fridge, freezer and one spare socket.

    The kitchen, lets talk about the kitchen! This island style kitchen was completely gutted and professionally renovated by a local contractor in 2010. A very open and inviting space, the kitchen cupboards are all KitchenCraft with birch doors. We often get compliments about it being a “Chef’s dream kitchen” and has to be seen to be truly appreciated. The kitchen is very well lit with accent lighting in the cupboards. Highlights are Silstone countertops, porcelain farmhouse sink, double wall oven, commercial oven hood over the six burner cooktop. The upstairs has custom made doors from the old barn that was on the property, the main floor has fresh hickory engineered hardwood throughout and the basement has a great family/TV room with pool table and outdoor hot tub ready to go. The master bedroom is air conditioned for those hot summer nights and has walk out sliding glass doors to the wrap around deck. The upper floor has two bedrooms with an office and a library.

    All 3 bathrooms are updated. The guest bathroom on the main floor has a large walk in tile shower and granite countertop. The 4 piece ensuite in the master bedroom has a steam shower, claw foot tub, heated tile with wifi control from your phone and Silstone top on the custom built vanity. The downstairs bathroom was installed new in 2010 during the renovation and features a tub/shower with toilet and sink.

    The yard has numerous outbuildings including two chicken coops with fenced pens, we used one for chickens and one for turkeys. Ther is a large pen for goats/sheep and a large dog pen. A garden shed for garden tools, a storage shed we use for garbage and extra horse tack, an additional self standing building we use as spare bedroom for overflow guests, open 3 stall barn and animal shelter, sea can wired with lights and power and a Cariboo property is not complete with out an outhouse! There is nice large lawn with fruit trees, tamarack, shrubberies and flower beds. There is a large garden with raised beds and a small greenhouse. Extensive clearing has been done to create a clear fire break around all important structures.

    A new 30x40 workshop was completed in 2014 and is properly permitted and has hot/cold running water with heat from the wood boiler. Air lines are plumbed in to a large compressor and the walls are completely finished in OSB. Engineered Concrete floor designed to handle equipment, excellent overhead LED lighting

    Lac la Hache is 10 minutes away and has an elementary school, gas station/grocery store a famous local bakery and the post office. 20 minutes up Timothy lake road and up the ski hill access is Mt. Timothy ski hill that is open year round for skiing, mountain biking with a licenced restaurant. 25 minutes to 100 mile house gets you most everything you need, and if you need a Canadian Tire or Walmart then Williams lake is a short 50 minute drive.
