Il a une superficie de 31 km carrés navigables, en plus des nombreux sports nautiques, la randonnée en forêt ou en montagne (30 min du mont Ham). De plus, nous y retrouvons le vélo-rail et la piste cyclable aménagée autour du lac. Il ne faut surtout pas oublier les sentiers de VTT ainsi que de motoneiges qui passent tout près.
