All-Inclusive Senior Residence (in my Home)
In 2013 my mother was ailing and had decided to move out of her lovely home and move to a local seniors residence, the down payment was made, and she was ready to go. She said she was “Just tired of trying to care for herself.”
When I heard of this, I knew this was not a great idea and offered to move in and take care of her, which is what I did. “In-house” efforts were made to make things easier for her. Closet rods were lowered, clutter was cleaned up, and arrangements were made for a PSW to come in and give her an evening shower. Additional towel bars were installed in the bathroom, bathtub grab bars had already been set up with an additional in-tub bench and a “Telephone” shower head on a hose.
We went out for coffee every morning and then went for a drive looking for dear or any other wildlife. All was going great, but unfortunately over the years her health continued to decline, and towards the end, she was not even able to wipe her own bottom, so I did this for her as well.
I am relating this info to you to make you aware that I am perfectly willing and capable of taking wonderful care of my house guest, no matter how much their health may depreciate.
As depicted in the photo, I live in a lovely all-brick bungalow with an attached garage and room in the driveway for three vehicles. Parking is included. The grounds include fully mature trees and numerous shrubs and bushes. I have several gardens, flower, vegetables, herbs, mint, and several raspberry patches. They all give forth a great bounty.
With that being said the meals I will be serving you (as often and whenever you desire) will consist of this “Bounty” as well as items from the Farmers Market, Burnt Ridge meats, local suppliers, etc. I am a nutritionist and “Functional Medicine and Sleep Coach” so I am well aware of the importance of eating an “Organic Diet”.
You will have free reign of the grounds, even your own garden if you so desire. The pictured master bedroom is complete with your own T.V. and a queen size bed, closet, armours, etc.
The living room has two entertainment systems, one for music, and the other for cable and movies.

Are you looking for a short or medium term room? Good you news for you, I'm renting a room till March in my nice flat in Hochelaga ! I have a 6 1/2 right across from Morgan Park where I live half the week with my 5-year-old daughter (you have to be comfortable living with a child full of life 50% of the time) and the other half of the time I'm almost never there, I'm kind of the ideal roommate. The apartment includes a kitchen, a living room, a large sunny terrace, a shared office to work at home, and 3 bedrooms, including yours at $650,. We stay in a very nice and quiet neighborhood at 12-minute walk from the Pie IX metro station, a bus station is just at the bottom of our building. The room is furnished, you just have to put down your suitcases.

J'ai un 6 1/2 juste en face du parc Morgan à Hochelaga dans lequel je vis la moitié de la semaine avec ma fille de 5 ans (il faut être à l'aise à vivre avec une enfant pleine de vie 50% du temps) et l'autre moitié du temps je ne suis presque jamais là, je suis un peu la coloc idéal. L'appartement comprend une cuisine, un salon, un bureau partagé pour le télétravail, une grande terrasse ensoleillée, et les 3 chambres, dont la vôtre à 650$, bref un petit coin d'amour dans un quartier très sympa à 12 minutes à pied du métro Pie IX. La chambre est meublée, vous avez juste à poser vos valises.
