We are a family of 5 and we are looking for a family/pet friendly rental for 2-3 years.
We are not interested in any short term rentals or anything that is currently for sale in which it could be sold. We are looking for a stable rental for a minimum of 2 years and a maximum of 3 years.
At that point we will be purchasing a home. We will be relocating from Northern BC this July to be closer to family. We would consider possibly renting with intent to purchase at the end of the term but really do not want to enter any rent to own agreements but depending on the right property would consider this.
My husband is an electrical apprentice and will be finished his hours and blocks and be a journeyman within a year. He is currently working as an industrial electrical apprentice doing fly-in/fly-out camp work. I am a nurse but am medically retired. We have 3 kids that are all in school and one will be going to university in a year. We have an elderly border collie she is spayed and house trained and just an amazing dog.
We are really quiet, clean, and respectful tenants and are looking for a safe and quiet place to call home. We do not party, or drink, or do drugs or anything like that. We mostly keep to ourselves and enjoy spending time outdoors in nature.
Open to any areas in Nova Scotia but really would prefer anything atlantic side or Cape Breton and close to the ocean would be a plus. We have our own vehicles so public transportation is not necessary. Would prefer something rural. Where we currently live is very close to the Stoddart and Donnie Creek Wildfires and is in a major natural gas hub so a very busy place. So the more rural and surrounded by nature the better.
We would like a 3+ bedroom but could make a 2 bedroom work if there is a space we could convert or build a third bedroom at our expense with approval. Our budget is 2000 + utilities (Not interested in anything with oil as the primary heat source). Would be willing to pay more if utilities are included.
