My name is Steve and I have been a professional guitarist for over 15 years. I attended McGill University and the New England Conservatory of Music, where I obtained a Master's degree in jazz guitar performance. In 2016, I was chosen as one of 10 finalists from across the globe for the Montreux (Switzerland) jazz guitar competition. After graduating from NEC I moved to New York City in 2018, where I performed and recorded with a multitude of bands and artists. I moved to Toronto after signing a co-publishing deal with world-renowned music producer T-minus and have since worked with artists such as J Cole, Nelly Furtado, Lil Nas X and more. Most recently, I was nominated for a grammy for my work on J Cole's "Might Delete Later". I offer private guitar lessons and as well as recording/production services.
