I'm Carter, I'm a Professional level musician in Rock/Metal and Blues.
I believe through personal experience and from previous students that the most likely way for you (or your child) to actually stick with your new instrument is to have as much fun as possible upfront, and then once you're hooked on enjoying the challenge of the Instrument, that things like written theory and sight reading can be picked up later, when you're ready.
If you're my student, We will start with cool sounding but simple things that give extremely fast easy wins to you, and as you begin to learn them, I'll lay out the musical ideas that underlie them, without making you overwhelmed.
These easy upfront wins will 'sneakily' build the skills you want without feeling like a chore. And in only a couple weeks you'll realize looking back that you've come further than you expected.
In terms of my ability, I'll attach a YouTube link of me playing later this afternoon.
I attended Metalworks Institute of Music and Technology back in 2016 and have been musically active since.
I just moved to London so am building back my clientele of anyone who want to improve musically.
I accept anyone in the beginner to advanced ranges.
If you come to my apt, half hour is $40, full hour is $60.
If you'd like, I can come to you, anywhere within 30 mins of London for a delivery charge of $25. This goes to gas and loading and unloading my guitars and amps at your place and bringing them back to mine.*****Anyone under 15 at my apt must have a parent present DURING THE LESSON for liability reasons. At least for the first couple lessons so we get to know each other.
I'll make you coffee/tea for your troubles, and can provide seating and earplugs.... (LOL. Jk, you won't need them)

The Mix-Up: This program is much like The Basics program but we will also frequently be concentrating on guitar tabs and the ability to learn how to play covers of songs you enjoy. This program will also consist of recording sessions for your progress.
Singing / Song writing - This program is introduced to students who have a desire to write and sing. You may want to jump in right away while at the same time learn guitar, or wait until some of your guitar playing skills have developed. Either way, if you are looking to apply singing with your playing abilities, this program is for you! This is a General overview of my programs. For more detailed info on how I provide lessons unlike anyone else, please contact me.
For ON-SITE or Zoom lesson rates please contact!

If interested please contact Joe Borowsky through Kijiji and if room runs out a waiting list is also available!. Thanks and look forward to hearing from you!
