I am a full time math and science teacher in the HRCE with 8 years experience, including one full year of virtual learning. I’m currently offering online tutoring services for most high school math, general science, and chemistry courses. My qualification include a B. Science with a major in Mathematics and Staistics and a minor in Chemistry, as well as a Masters in Mathematics for Teachers.
I love teaching and having the opportunity to work one on one with students, as this type of intervention usually yields big gains.
When I take on new tutoring students, I always spend one session getting to know them, their goals, their skills, and well as their challenges. From there, we can work towards improving their success in their course.
I am able to offer remedial work (basic foundational skills that may need more practice), or general coursework help. This would mean working through concepts being taught that week, going over quizzes and tests, helping with homework and practice problems, etc.
My current rate is $45 per hour, and I have evening availability starting March 25.
If you’d like to chat to see if I might be a good fit for you or your child, we can schedule a phone call.

Due to saskatchewans struggling education system My husband and I are interested in hiring an Elementary Education Teacher to privately teach our 3 girls at home. Our children are in grades 2, 3 & 6 and do not have any learning disabilities. Neighboring families may be interested as well if successful teacher wanted more children in their class.
If we found the right teacher, we will build and provide whatever class room space and accessories needed. We live on a farm 30 minutes north of Regina, so this is a short commute for someone in the city who may be looking for an alternate career route.
If interested, please contact us and we would love to chat about the position.
