Hi, my name is Jeff! As Canada's top-reviewed LSAT private tutor, having achieved a perfect score on the Logic Games sections, and with 1,000+ hours of instructional experience, I developed a highly effective tutoring curriculum that has helped numerous students excel on their LSAT.
I am not your stereotypical, run-of-the-mill LSAT tutor with a genius-level IQ who aced the test without much effort. Having scored a 151 on my first diagnostic and a disastrous 4/23 on the LG. I had to learn the LSAT from scratch.
Having personally worked my way up the LSAT totem pole eventually scoring in the 93rd percentile and having helped numerous students make leaps and bounds in their LSAT prep, I know how you can improve your score wherever you are in your LSAT prep journey.
Here are three distinguishing features of my LSAT tutoring practice:
1. I will teach you to systematically approach every question type from each section of the LSAT with accuracy and speed. I will guide you through the problem-solving process every step of the way.
2. My sessions are highly customized. I am highly adept at diagnosing students' strengths and weaknesses and I tailor each session to your individual needs.
3. I make sure that you develop all the right habits to keep your careless errors to a minimum. This is key to achieving consistent results on the LSAT.
As my student, you will gain exclusive access to the AoPrep Digital Library, which contains all the LSAT study materials as well as a special compilation of diagrams and set-ups for ALL logic games from prep test 1-38.

Hi, guys! My name's Mike, I'm a Mount Pearl native and O'Donel High School and Marine Institute graduate (where I aced all of my classes), and I'm a highly experienced interdisciplinary tutor, with over 10 years of experience tutoring students, in both face-to-face and online classroom environments, in a variety of subjects and at a variety of grade levels. I recently moved back home after living and teaching English in Portugal for four years while tutoring Math, Physics, and Chemistry online, but now I'm back in my hometown and excited to share my passion for unraveling the mysteries of the universe, and help you or your child figure out and master those tricky academic concepts that just don't click yet.
My tutoring experience includes everything from late elementary school to university-level courses, with the majority of my students seeing me throughout High School. My most popular subjects are Math, Physics, and Chemistry, but I also tutor English as well as a variety of specialized subjects, including Symbolic/Digital Logic, Formal logic and argumentation structures, Ethical Philosophy, Introductory Psychology, ROV, and basic Portuguese!
My tutoring approach is an informal, conversational style based on building a personalized relationship with the student. We will work on customizing their generic in-class material to relate to their interests and everyday experience while identifying and adapting to the specific learning style that clicks best for them. We will focus on breaking down difficult concepts step-by-step into small pieces that are easy to remember and execute, and translating all of the formal gibberish into intuitive, everyday language that you can visualize and understand, in order to paint a picture of how all the steps come together and describe what's actually going on in real life. We will draw a lot of pictures and color-coded diagrams, write up step-by-step instructions telling you exactly how to tackle specific problems, and develop personalized “Cheat Sheets”, which are condensed study guides of just 1 to 3 pages packed with all of the most important formulas and notes you will need to know and practice for your tests.
My students have a very high satisfaction rate, with most of them improving their grades by up to 20% or more after a semester or two with me, and often keep coming back for all three years in high school for multiple subjects. My rate is $30/hr and I typically tutor out of my apartment in Mount Pearl, which will minimize distractions and maximize the student's ability to concentrate, associate the environment with learning, and have access to all of my online and printable resources and study sheets. My sessions are typically one-on-one, which maximizes the focus we can put on the student and their specific needs, but I am also available for group tutorials at $40/hr for 2 students, $50/hr for 3 students, and so on. I can also come to your neighborhood for blocks of time 3 hours or longer, either for one extended session or multiple sessions in the same household or immediate vicinity.
Feel free to call or email me with any questions, or to book a FREE 'trial session', which will be a half-hour consultation where I'll get to know the student, identify their specific subject needs, goals, work out a road map and schedule for future sessions, discuss required materials, expectations, and payments, and answer any questions you might have. We can also work on a problem or topic from class that they are struggling with, in order for them to decide if my approach is a good fit for their learning style, and if they want to move forward from there.
Thanks for reading, and I look forward to hearing from you! I can guarantee that you won't regret having a newfound appreciation for the beauty inherent in how the universe works, and you will see my enthusiasm for the subject matter during our sessions! Oh, and seeing your (or your child's) grades in school steadily improve over time will be nice too!

NEXT GENERATION NCLEX (NGN) REVIEW CLASSES. I am a Canadian University Graduate Professional Registered Nurse with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) degree who holds registration in both Canada and the United States of America. I am also a Canadian University Certified Nurse Educator.
My many years of experience as a floor duty nurse and a nurse educator have prepared me for this current role as an instructor. Many students preparing for NEXT GENERATION NCLEX (NGN) examinations find it very difficult, and most students study hard but not smart.
I am offering you my COMPLETE EXAM REVIEW preparation course, which will help you pass your exam(s). I provide a comprehensive review of nursing content, teach you how to interpret and answer questions correctly, and many more test-taking strategies. For example,
The Next Generation NCLEX (NGN) assesses a nurse's ability to provide safe and effective patient care, including sound clinical judgment based on evidence-based practice. Join my active learning classes and practice your critical thinking skills by applying nursing theory to practice for success on the exam. I conduct live classes online to review nursing content, followed by relevant case studies, interactive virtual simulations, group discussions, escape room scenarios and more. I review and practice NGN-type questions based on the clinical judgment model capturing the content categories tested on the exam: Management of Care, Safety and Infection Control, Health Promotion and Maintenance, Basic Care and Comfort, Pharmacological and Parental Therapies, Reduction of Risk Potential, and Physiological Adaptation.
After more than 15 years of nursing and many years of tutoring student nurses in Canada, I have confidence in my teaching method and am satisfied with my student's success rate. Many students have passed their exams and are now happily employed.
For private tutoring, please e-mail me for assistance at goldstarnursing@gmail.com. I am also excited to teach you and see you succeed. Students who are serious about success, send me an e-mail, and I will get back to you as soon as possible.

BIENVENIDOS A ESPAÑOL POR FAVOR :))
¡Hola a todos y todas muy buenos días !
¿Quieren aprender o mejorar en español? Ready to learn or improve your Spanish? My name is Julian Emilio. I'm from Mexico, native Spanish speaker. I have a BA in Communications and finished my postgraduate program in Toronto a few months ago .I have more than eight years of experience teaching this amazing language to international students from: Germany, Denmark, England, Japan, Canada and Australia.
If you're a beginner, intermediate or advanced user; we can work according to your needs and the previous knowledge you have, . However, if you haven't taken Spanish classes before that's totally ok; we can start from scratch; and in about two weeks you will start to see positive changes :) . That's the best part about having private lessons. The method I teach was developed by linguistic experts from Tecnológico de Monterrey (Mexico), where I studied my bachelor degree, and Universidad Complutense de Madrid (Spain). This method has been a tremendous success among other universities in Latin America, Europe and North America. We track our progress based on the CEFR international language standard. It is totally focused on personalized lessons.
The priority is that you can achieve your goals in the right amount of time. That's why we have a general conversation in our first meeting, to understand why you want to learn and then I can adapt the method according to your needs and expectations. For more information please visit our official website - ¿Español? Sí por favor: www . espanolporfavor . net
******** IMPORTANT ********
I've been teaching for almost five years in Canada , and we usually meet at different public libraries around the city or any other location that works better for my students (University campus, student's house, offices, public library ,etc) .
If for commuting, traveling, work, sickness, disability or other personal reasons you prefer to take the lessons via Zoom, we can definitely have online sessions. This is also a good option for my students because it will make a reduction of our teaching fees. Nevertheless, the content and the efficiency of the tutoring will be exactly the same if you learn in-person or online.
If you have any questions or would like to know more about this program, you can write me through our official website, by email or through this Kijiji ad.
