This two bedroom, two bathroom end unit is located in the prestigious Ocean Sands Condominiums facility in Madeira Beach, Florida. The facility is quiet, well maintained, and family- or adult-friendly.
This is a north tower, north end unit with side windows that provide a sweeping view of the Gulf of Mexico and the intracoastal waterway. The side windows provide an enhanced view of the sunsets and beach area.
The unit is 1200 square feet (111 square metres) and provides plenty of room for relaxing and enjoying time at the beach.
The kitchen provides a full-size refrigerator with ice maker, electric stove, microwave, dishwasher, coffee pot, Keurig, kettle, blender, toaster, and a side bar for quick dining.
The dining area includes a full-size dining room table with chairs and a side window view of the Gulf of Mexico.
The laundry room provides a full-size washer, dryer, iron, and ironing board.
The living area includes a couch, love seat, reclining chair, cable TV, and sliding glass doors that open onto the 30 foot balcony overlooking the white sand beach and the Gulf of Mexico.
The master bedroom includes a King sized bed with extra pillows, cable TV, a walk-in closet, hair dryer, and a full-sized bathroom with two sinks, a separate toilet and bath room with a new tiled walk-in shower. Direct access to the 30 foot balcony is by sliding glass doors.
The second bedroom sleeps three persons on one Queen and one Twin bed, has a full size closet, and cable TV. Adjacent to the second bedroom is a three-piece bathroom.
Chairs and tables are provided for the balcony and some beach toys are available in the balcony storage room. Beach chairs and beach towels are also provided in the unit.
Access to the pool area and beach is by keyed gates for use by residents and guests only. Keypad entries to the building.
One reserved, covered parking space is provided with the unit and additional parking is available in front of the building.
*Attractions and Amenities*
Restaurants are plentiful within walking distance or by using the Suncoast Trolley, which passes in front of the unit every 30 minutes or so daily. A grocery store and pharmacy are available directly across the street from the unit. Many other dining and shopping options are accessible within a short drive – recommendations gladly available upon request.
Nearby attractions include Johns Pass shopping and restaurants, Treasure Island, St. Pete Beach, and downtown St. Petersburg is a short drive away.

with a king size bed. Please note the slanted, wooden panelling near the ceiling in this room provides some privacy, but sound carries into the rest of the cottage. It is not acoustically private. The beds in the loft are accessible via a step ladder. One is a double size mattress, while the other is a twin mattress. These sleeping areas are open to the main living area in the cottage and have minimal privacy.

This year-round cottage has 3 bedrooms, approx. 1250sq. feet. with a large private treed lot with a creek framing the back with a large firepit to spend endless evenings roasting marsh mellows with friends.
It is a warm, modern, and open concept cottage with newer Beds, Furniture, Appliances and Electronics. There are 3 Queen Beds and 1 Bathroom. The cottage is Non-smoking and close to the beach; its a short 5 minute walk to the beach, 2 play grounds and a wealth of walking paths. The local store is a short walk away for the after super ice cream treat or any grocery items that may be required. For golf enthusiasts, there are several golf courses within driving distance including: Sandy Hook, Links at the Lake, Hecla, and Tuelon just to name a few.
Interior:
Internet just installed! The new space air-conditioning in MB and ceiling fan in the living room will keep you cool during the hot months. The wood burning fireplace will keep you cozy and warm during the chilly nights. There are newer appliances; fridge, stove, microwave, and coffeemaker in the bright eat in kitchen. There are plenty of dishes, cutlery, pots and pans. The kitchen is fully equipped to cook up a fabulous meal, a BBQ is positioned on the deck right outside the kitchen door on the back deck which can be fired up for that much anticipated steak dinner. Don’t feel like cooking??? Gimli is 10 minutes away and has fabulous restaurants. The newly renovated Bathroom features a new sink/vanity with a new shower. The newer mattresses are comfortable and supportive to give you a great night sleep. The living room features a cozy sectional that faces the HD TV home theatre and Satellite TV with lots of channels. Upon sliding the large patio doors, you’ll enter in a large screened veranda with couch, eating area, dart board, beer fridge - a beautiful room to enjoy the fresh air safe from the pesky mosquitoes at dusk or to read a book in the hanging chair.
Exterior:
You can enjoy the sun all day long on the newly built front deck or large back deck featuring comfortable patio sets on both. There is parking for multiple vehicles and privacy on all sides.

If fire ban is lifted and you are going to use the firepit or the Fireplace in Winter you must provide your own wood to burn.
Water in the house is well water and is safe to drink but there may be a slight metallic smell and a different taste. If you or your guests are sensitive to this then we recommend bringing water with you.
There is a septic tank for all water and waste. All water from the toilet, shower and sinks drains into it. Please be conscious of conserving water especially with toilets. Please do not flush until you need to, “Yellow let it mellow, brown flush it down”. If the tank overflows and you smell it contact me and I will have it emptied within 24hrs.
When the cabin is occupied full time, the tank requires emptying approximately every 3 to 4 weeks. If a tap is left running or the toilet is running and the tenant does not pay attention to the water use causing the tank to overflow prematurely, they will be responsible for the cost of emptying, 125.00.
There is no land phone line, in case of emergency neighbors are accessible.
Guests are required to bring their own bedding/sleeping bags (pillows are provided), towels, condiments and whatever else you need for a comfortable stay.

Along with the total rental I ask for a $500 security deposit along with the balance the day prior to your stay.

What you will love about this home:
Ours is a comfortable home with mountain views. Each building has a pool and hot tub (6 of
each in total) and you have free use of all of them. Laundry facilities are conveniently located in
each building. Our place has one bedroom with queen sized bed and so is ideally suited to two
guests. However, if you wish, there is an air mattress available for your use in the event that
you have overnight guests or children. We have a well-appointed kitchen for your cooking
needs. Linens, bath towels and pool towels are provided.
What you will love about this neighbourhood:
We are in a gated community in beautiful Palm Springs. Our community has 6 heated pools and
6 hot tubs available for your use, all of which are maintained on a daily basis. There are 3 tennis
courts and outdoor shuffleboard courts. The mature, landscaped grounds are well kept, and are
inviting for leisurely walks around the community.
We are a block away from the Palm Springs Tourist Office, 5 minutes away from downtown
Palm Springs, and 9 minutes from the Tramway at the base of Mt. San Jacinto - one of Palm
Springs premiere attractions. There are numerous hiking trails on the mountains and throughout
the canyons around Palm Springs. If you enjoy golf, there are over 100 golf courses in the area,
complemented by 350 days of sunshine! If you love to shop be sure to head down to the
Cabazon Desert Outlet Mall - a huge collection of designer stores 20 minutes drive from Palm
Springs. In addition, there is a plethora of music, film, food, and art festivals throughout the
year including the world famous Coachella Music Festival held for two weekends every April.

We provide our guests an information package including maps, contact numbers, and some of
our favourite sights to see, things to do, and places to dine.
For those who are considering taking advantage of our special summer rate, we have taken
many family vacations to the area during the summer months and so have a few suggestions on
how to make the most of it. Palm Springs is hot in the summer, that's for certain!
However, beginning May, 2022, it is expected that the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway will be
offering summer passes. This is a good thing! Though the price has not yet been set, these
passes typically cost under $100 and half that for children. The tramway is literally down the
street from our condo complex. So, first thing in the morning, we pack cherries and pistachios,
then head up the mountain to take advantage of the scenic hiking trails and the amenities
offered - including restaurants, maps, a store, a ranger station and such. In the afternoon, we
might go for a refreshing swim, take in a movie or treat ourselves to a massage. Evenings are
beautiful! Time for an evening stroll to discover what this town has to offer. That includes
numerous gourmet patio restaurants and events such as the Farmer's Market - a popular street fair held every Thursday night. For those that like to golf, we suggest an early morning start. Keep in
mind that Palm Springs is within a two hour drive of Anaheim, Los Angeles (Hollywood), and
San Diego. Las Vegas and Phoenix are four hours away. Or consider a day trip to Idyllwild, a
beautiful mountain village within an hours drive. When visiting Palm Springs during the summer
we often opt for a short side vacation (3-5 days) to the coast to comfortably enjoy exciting
attractions such as Disneyland, Universal Studios, Knotts Berry Farm, Sea World, Lego Land,
and the world famous San Diego Zoo. Our Palm Springs Condo would make an excellent home
base to explore the area.
